Hi Steve. I am in the market for a 4k tv do not want to spend too much money. Is this TU7000 a replacement for the RU7100 ? i am looking for tv that offers at lear 4 HDMI. This TV set only has 2 and the RU7100 has 3. Can you assist me in choosing a reasonable set that has 4 HDMI ?

If anyone's is wondering about the color not being bright enough and the contrast, well in the picture settings put it on dynamic, then put contrast at 50, brightness at 40-42. Any brighter is just way to bright. Sharpness leave where it's at. Now this is what makes it have the Roku tv color... On COLOR slide to 40! Trust me. Enjoy ur movies and gaming!
I just got this Samsung 55 inch to replace my Hisense 55 inch which broke a few days after I got it. Hisense is crap. I changed the settings to your suggestions and now the view is so much thanks for the tips.

I don't have cable, just use antenna, apps( UA-cam, Netflix maybe now, music app). The picture on the screen at my local Bestbuy sold me; originally looking to purchase 65 LG 7000 series but sold out. I'm big into reviews, but gets overwhelming. I just hope this works out for me. I have 15 days to return

@@DarthCrohns The Samsung QLEDs costs around same, and they have better picture quality. These Crystal UHD is 1 tier below QLED, which is why they are usually listed just below them in price. Just go for the Samsung Q60R from 2019. It will probably be cheaper than this one and you'll be better off. Higher refresh rate and better colors.
@@TechSteve it’s just incredible bro, I had gotten a TCL 55 inch from Walmart but it sucked donkey dick horribly, in every way possible but then went to Best Buy and got this one and even tho it’s five inches smaller there is not that much of a difference in size, and I’m more about quality than size, this tv had the most amazing pic and mine does upscale everything to 4k when possible for it to!!! Even dark images come in not as good as good as what an oled tv can do but it’s so so so close. This is my new fav tv

Just bought this my first 4k tv and it's for the ps5😊 super excited and thanks for the review! I won't be upgrading for a long time especially if its just for the 120fps. 60 fps is still awesome! Super hyped for this! Plus it's got good low input lag on game mode

Had a highsense 55 inch and the screen went black and would just play sound and the reset we tried did not work. Ordered this tv and got it two days ,so far so good .

Thank you for posting this video, it's been very helpful. I do have a question about the initial set up that you did not show in this video. On the very first screen when you power the tv on it say's to download the Smart Things app on your mobile. Is this a step you can skip or do you have to download it on your cell phone in order to continue set up? I just ordered the TU7000 Samsung in a 50" and I do not want to use the Smart Things from my cell, I hope it isn't necessary to continue setting this tv up. I don't want the app on my phone. Tech Steve! Good question! If the info label on the back of the TV is missing, how can you determine the correct model #? The screen is messed up - cracked - but appears to work! No legs / stand, no remote! It's a Samsung, and appears to be a 50". I would have to measure it. If the back cover is removed, is the model # printed somewhere on the inside? Thank you 🤓
Ahh i see now. I was all confused with why there wasn’t a audio output. I still like some things wired tbh. I have my tv aux with my Bose speaker even tho I could go the blue tooth route.
Yes, go into bixby app then tap up right corner (three lines) then below my devices and my capsules tap quick comands. Then tap up left corner that plus button. Then you make your command. I programed it for my tv and when i say just "off" it turns off.

@@HomeboyHotel Most wouldn’t notice until you tell them considering TV’s and other electronics share the same models/skins but the higher model has a better display and features. Also when you look at stats people always buy the best products for the money aka 99 percent buy the budget option over the high end models, Consoles, Computers, TVs Etc.
FYI I purchased this model at the end of Jan 2024. I think it’s great so far. I’m not a gamer and 90% of what I watch is streamed. No issues at all so far. Great picture. The menus are a bit slower than what I’m used to. But at $300 I can’t imagine anything better.

Not alot of TVs have that many inputs, if you want a Samsung I recommend browsing the models on line or consider using a 4k HDMI switcher

Bluetooth causes lip sync issues, but some TV's allows you to adjust the timing
i have 2 questions. can you buy a Samsung one remote for this tv and also i get a lot of pixels on black and closeups any thing i can do?
You can make bixby quick command. The you can say whatever you want and he does what you programed it.

Yes, go into bixby app then tap up right corner (three lines) then below my devices and my capsules tap quick comands. Then tap up left corner that plus button. Then you make your command. I programed it for my tv and when i say just "off" it turns off.

@TechSteve, I got a vizio smart tv a while back and since i live in the Caribbean the TV did not have a home screen because it was unavailable in my country. Will this tv have the same problem? is it for the US region only like Vizio?

@@itsnaeem1855 you mean that 30 fps is perfect. The Hz is important and that is why the standard for TVs is 50Hz or 60Hz

@@HomeboyHotel Most wouldn’t notice until you tell them considering TV’s and other electronics share the same models/skins but the higher model has a better display and features. Also when you look at stats people always buy the best products for the money aka 99 percent buy the budget option over the high end models, Consoles, Computers, TVs Etc.

How does this model stand up today going into Jan 2024? I am seeing it at just over $300 which seems like a bargain
FYI I purchased this model at the end of Jan 2024. I think it’s great so far. I’m not a gamer and 90% of what I watch is streamed. No issues at all so far. Great picture. The menus are a bit slower than what I’m used to. But at $300 I can’t imagine anything better.
