This is how Hobbyzone describes this Avanti EDF Jet:
"In the field of model aircraft, the name Avanti comes from Italian, and its meaning also happens to be going forward.The licensed Arrows Avanti is exactly what the name Avanti stands for, giving inexperienced pilots the confidence to go forward.
Overview:
The integration of Avanti's main wing and tail effectively improve the low-speed handling of the aircraft, significantly lowering the technical requirements. The small-scale size (airframe length 750mm, wingspan 640mm) reduces the site requirements, allowing pilots to take off and land at more sites away from crowds and buildings.
The Avanti, like other arrows hobby small-scale jets, comes without any landing gear to deal with, for higher speed and better vertical performance. Power is provided by a 50mm 11-blade fan unit, 2627-4500KV brushless motor and high-performance 30A ESC (with 3A BEC), compatible with the extremely common 3S batteries - delivering unmatched speed and sound.
This Avanti will help you to cross over to the land of RC jets.
Features:
• Powerful 2627- 4500KV brushless motor;
• Highly efficient 50mm 11 bladed EDF unit;
• Reliable, high-performance 30A ESC with 3A BEC;
• Easy to hand-launch and belly-land, without any landing gear to deal with;
• Simple lightweight design for extended flight times;
• Highly attractive trim scheme;
• PNP with Vector system-allowing three flying modes;
• Uncompromising performance despite its friendly price;
• Licensed by Sebart, Italy.
Need to Complete
PNP (Plug-and-Play) airplanes include the ESC, motor, and servos all pre-installed from the factory. The transmitter, receiver, battery, and charger are not included."

Excellent maiden Team GB! Looks like another nice plane from Arrows. Hope your weather stays good for flying.
Thank you Mike! I hope it does too as I have a maiden with another new jet, a bigger one, if it all works out 👊🏻💥👊🏻
How would you rank the Arrows 50mm EDFs based on performance? Fun factor? BAE Hawk, T-33, Viper, Avanti, L-39…
Boy, that is a really tough one to answer. I do plan to really think about it and make a video at some point after I get a chance to fly the L-39. The best question for me to ask is what are you looking for in an EDF in this class? There isn't a bad one in the bunch, but I would say the Viper is the best overall performer. Put a 4S pack into it and it becomes a 100MPH jet. The Avanti is awesome too, but the roll rate is anemic compared to the Viper. Please let me know if that is helpful.
@@GBLynden that helps. Thanks. Looking to fly in slightly larger than a soccer-field area, so I imaging the Viper would be best? Surprised that the Avanti has a slower roll rate than the Viper.
All of the jets are cool, but I would say in that scenario, the Viper would be best as your first Arrows Jet to fly there. From there, you can whittle it down to what you want from your next jet. A quick clarification note in the Avanti, the roll rate is decent on high rates. For some newer pilots, that might be best now that I think that through.
Nice maiden GB . These are great EDFs for the $

Excellent flight!
Thank you! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
I bought the Arrows Marlin64 few weeks ago but due to weather haven't been able to maiden it yet, however thinking about it maybe one of these would've been a better buy haha
These are indeed one of the best values in RC! I think you can get and extra $10 Off by clicking on my link and using the Code GBLYNDEN 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@@GBLynden Unfortunately I'm in the UK so can't get any further discount, another plane I'm after is another STOL to go along with my Arrows Bigfoot, I want something thats easier to take apart and fit in the car but seems like only real option is the new Super Timber which for few reasons wouldn't be my first choice usually, do you know of any others?
While this isn't a traditional STOL plane, on 4S, this new FMS Cessna just leaps up off of the ground, even without flaps off of my nappy thick grass: bit.ly/3UYlhMf
@@GBLynden thanks I'll check it out, I like my belly landers and STOL type planes due to areas I fly, generally rough ground that's either very bumpy or rocky (or both if I'm lucky :p)
I totally understand! Maybe the Husky is something to consider?
Thank you.
Thank you for watching! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
