Hi. Do you know if we can create and download the video history of the 10 days 24/7 but as a miniclip of few minutes? I want to make a miniclip of a full year.

Hey Luis. You can head on over to the web app at [home.nest.com] once you're set up with Nest Aware Plus to create longer clips. You can save clips up to one hour in length to be played back in real-time, or you can create timelapse clips covering up to 24 hours at a time in a 2 minute clip.

What can the nest aware subscriptions do for the speakers and displays as it is not mentioned on the website?

Hi Saeed. Nest aware functionality only covers devices that are in the camera or doorbell family of products. So in terms of speakers and displays, the only device currently covered is the Nest Hub Max, and that will act like any other camera you have. For £5/month, you will get 30 days of event history and for £10/month you will get 60 days of event history and 10 days of 24/7 video history. However, if you have a doorbell, then your Nest speakers and displays can alert you to somebody being at the front door, and with Nest Displays, you can even select quick responses. Plus, if you have a Nest display or a Chromecast with Google TV, you can always ask the Google Assistant to show you what's happening on any of the cameras you own for a live look. Hope this helps!

Tnx for the video. I just subscribed to the Nest Aware Plus plan several days ago but not all of my cameras are showing the video
history as their free 30 day trial had already expired. Do I need to delete these cameras and add them to the account again? I haven’t been
able to get support on this issue.

Hi Dale. Thanks for getting in touch.
For new customers and for customers upgrading from the first generation Nest Aware, there is a 30-day free trial available. If some of your devices have not yet been upgraded to the new Nest aware, as a first port of call we suggest downloading any video clips you want to save from home.nest.com and completely removing these Nest Cameras through the Nest app using the settings cog -> remove camera function (then check your Google Home app to make sure your cameras are fully removed). Sign back in to your Nest app with your Google Account and set up your cameras again.
Do reach out if you need additional support!

Hi Nathan. I'm really struggling with activity zones. I set a zone, call it driveway. I set the notification zones to People, and parcels leaving all other motion unchecked. I however get alerts for people outside of the activity zone even though I've selected None to all on that zone.

      Hi Andy,
I currently use two of the available four activity zones, and have made them slightly smaller than the area I am interested in. You have said that your other alerts, audio and such are off, so this shouldn't be effecting your notifications, rather it may be that the zone is slightly larger than it needs to be.
If you head over to home.nest.com you can adjust your activity zones through your computer which may make sizing them down a little easier.
Let me know if this makes a difference!
      Many thanks,

Is there a subscription for continuing recording all year around if so how much

    • @Nathan.Google
      @Nathan.Google 3 роки тому

      Hey Paul,
Both subscriptions will keep you up to date all year round, but Nest Aware Plus is the one that offers 24/7 recording for 10 days. To clarify, this means that at any point (assuming your camera was on), you can see the last 10 days of 24/7 video history. On day '11', you would still have 10 days of 24/7 history, but day '1' would be converted to event-history only, showing you the times your nest cam captured activity rather than everything. Currently there is no subscription that keeps a 365 day 24/7 history, but if you were looking to archive the year, I would suggest downloading the moments that matter to you and keeping them locally.
If you head over to home.nest.com through your browser, you can create time-lapse clips of up to 24 hours at a time, into 2 minute clips, or save clips up to 1 hour in length for real-time playback. If you wanted to cover multiple full days, you would need to download multiple clips.
      Hope this helps.

      Hi Barbara,
I've not come across this issue before, but will try my best to assist. A few questions for clarification:
      - You have no issues using Nest Aware on your iPhone, but only your Android phone?
      - Does your history end after 24 hours, or are your saved events are only available for 24 before disappearing?
      - What do you see when using the Google Home app on your Android phone (going to your camera, clicking the three dots in the right hand corner, then selecting 'Full history'). Are the results the same?
      - What do you see when using home.nest.com, with regards to history or saved clips.
Nest Aware plus should give you 60 days of event based recording and 10 days of history. This means that you should have a complete 10 day history in your Event Sightline, and 60 days total of event based recording, with visible video history when the camera was activated by an event (or from the point of Nest Aware plus if purchased within 60 days). Do you have this on your devices?
When you are creating a clip to save from your Sightline, these will have differences based on how you save them. Through the app you can save a clip up to 2.5 minutes long, through the web app you can save a clip up to 1 hour, and you can also save a timelapse of up to 24 hours.
      Hope to help,
