Thank you Grouplove for making music that articulates what feel inside of which I cannot seem to be able to explain in a way that other people actually understand. It's that mix of sadness and choking up, holding back tears, at the same time feeling euphoric happiness that vibrates throughout my entire body as I listen to your beautifully happy/sad music. I dont know how you do it, but your music makes me actually feel and gets in my brain, in my soul, and in my heart and makes me feel like there are at least people out there who get me on a level that can only be understood through music. Ive Always been a huge music person because it is really the only way I feel that I can successfully express who I am. It's the sounds, the nuances, the lyrics, the energy and somehow feeling understood even tho I have never met you all sadly. I know I am rambling now, hope what I said made sense to at least one other person who is affected as strongly by music like I am. It truly is a blessing to have diacovered Grouplove about 8 years ago or so and they have never let me down and creating some of the best music on this planet IMHO. Anyways, yeah, the hairs stand up and the goosebumps pop up every. single. time. Why do I have such a huge emotional and physical reaction to great music? Not sure, I guess we are all different. But I do know 1 thing. I'm not alone with this. Not everybody gets that strong of a reaction just from music alone, but I am willing to bet there are quite a few other people that do and get exactly where I am coming from. And if not, I guess that's okay too.
There's a reason music is so timeless homie, it makes many people feel exactly this way. I've noticed that some people don't listen to their own type of music sometimes though, leading them to never feel that wave or surge of emotion that comes with listening to something that synchronizes with you. If your music doesn't make you feel this way, you're not listening to your style of music.
