My dad played this song for me a few years back and we listened to it together almost every day.
Just finished watching a very powerful series, Dickinson, and it is by far the best show I’ve watched and the show’s finale ended with this song, I recognized it immediately and felt overwhelmed by the nostalgia and the emotions behind the show coming to an end.
Despite my knowledge of the series sapphroic perspective I never watched it for fear it would ruin my own connection to Emily. But your comment on this song rippled up a memory:

I watched their older videos and listen to their older music. And love it. And then I watch and hear this and I'm blown away. Look how far they have come, and this video/song is so good and fresh, and really shows how much they have grown. It's almost a different band in some respects, but it's not. It's an evolution of awesomely talented musicians and people, really finding their sound. 💗

I think it's a rather cheaply produced video. Apparently they couldn't even wait for a sunnier day to shoot "Your Light" (!) When they kiss the furry puppets in the baskets, they are not even really cycling anymore. And, conveniently for the male gaze, they have to lean over to offer cleavage. I like the melody and the lyrics, but the video shouldn't have been shot this shoddily.
