Thank you for your efforts on this podcast. I can't help but ask if paths are crossed with the Gilbert Goons and this younger group of 12+ boys. It feels like they're being coached, someone a bit older is influencing their behavior and enabling access to under age prohibitive resources. With social media they're also creating their own subculture and haven't faced real consequences; yet. They've mentioned brass knuckles. Going after power supplies demonstrates a devious sophistication and harassing young girls with the deliberate affect of "psychological warfare" is very disturbing. The Police again seem to be reluctant to do any police work. Just like before it becomes the parents who provide the evidence and have to use their civil rights to get any Judicial participation. Wisdom, Courage and Protection I wish for your communities.
I will never understand parents letting middle schoolers hang out alone at night, that seems to be a very common thing in this community and is the one common theme from all the stories coming out of this place. how in the world do you host a child in your home and have no idea they are sleeping in your yard.
Thank you for helping to spread awareness about this issue and these kids. But please consider your language when discussing non-traditional families. Using the phrase "broken homes" to describe single parent households is extremely offensive and outdated.
