Or maybe, people should actually watch the video, the whole video, or at least most of it, and not skip through, so they can hear things in context and get the actual comparisons that are being made. If someone wants a review of one particular fragrance, there are probably reviews for that, so they can go find them.

Thank you for these buying guides. It’s otherwise a bit hard for us fragrance semi-newcomers who are not as familiar with a brand’s entire production history to get a full read on which flankers in the line are best for us.

Just got The One Gentleman because it had a lot of comparisons to Gucci Envy for Men, which is one of my favorites. Off the atomizer there is a Gucci Envy-esq smell, but it disappears after spraying and is replaced by a blueish shower gel-like vibe that is somewhere between fairly pleasant and mildly offputting. Gentleman will join my "Office Scent" collection, i.e. Prada L'homme, Lalique White, MontBlanc Starwalker, Gendarme, etc. Pleasant enough. Inoffensive enough. Inexpensive enough.

I've had the one mysterious night for about a year now, the bottle lasts me forever. I'm starting a collection and for some reason, it's one of my favorites. Especially in The One line. A perfect, foreign rose scent. How could anyone hate it? D&G know how to make fragrances.....today I received the parfum and it's absolutely stunning too. The original The One is used during the day, because this is definitely a night vibe. I love it! I can't choose between the two honestly, the mysterious night and parfum. Tough choice for me. Both are brilliant fragrances!
Mysterious Night really packs a PUNCH. I want Luminous Nights... So beautiful. I like the Gentleman flanker.

love the Mysterious Night, Royal Night really, good Luminous Night was ok at least to me so that one gets very little wear.
I Had The One Sport The Smell Was Creepy But Refreshing At Same Time.
I have the one with the black gradient bottle.
Smells great but agree performance sucks, as can barely smell it on my arm after like 40 mins.
I mostly use it for my own enjoyment but can’t tell if anyone even smells it except when I’m walking around right after spraying. Prob true is good for dates where spray it right before hanging out with someone.
Will try to find some similar scents with more performance.
Also notice that every time I smell it, i seem to get new notes. Shows it’s rich and complex fragrance
Wish ya did chapters like the other videos with multiple line reviews. Trying to find the specific ones is a bit troublesome. Haha. I eventually found it and it was the gold and parfum intense one.

Well for the general public and majority of people my man Dallas is on point again! Mysterious night is not something that is gonna be something that everyone likes, I found this out too late after listening to you tubers who want unique so much they don’t even know what the masses of people will like. I have the biggest bottle of Mysterious Night 🤦♂️, it’s unique as ever but it isn’t a “compliment getter” at least I kept the box I don’t know when I’ll actually wear that scent or if I even will.
Side note The One EDP is incredible.

love mysterious night and luminous night the edp is nice but that performance is a problem for me im settled down so dont really have dates anymore lol
I get more compliments with the EDT than the EDP version, I do always carry a tiny vile of whatever I'm wearing for a recharge, so I'm not worried about performance.

@@EduMatia i prefer EDT. It creates a a cozy ambiance thats just so light and delicious. EDP is too thick for my taste for this DNA. Edt reminds me of a light candied amber

only tried the edp so far. loved the scent but didnt find it worth keeping if i cant smell it after 5 minutes so i sold it. i just ordered the one royal night. i hope i love it! luminous night will be next. intense is a maybe, i dont love leather

I bought the edt back in 2010 and thought it is to weak. Years later, I find out its made that way for a reason. Overall nice scent 😌
@@Bada_Boom78 It was made that way because it's meant for date night, movies, or dinner. Its not for everyone to smell but its only for that person wearing it and his date would be able to smell it if she puts her nose on him
the EDP one is still nice parfume, maybe if you want to go about 3/4 hours, you still get a good compliment.

Would you say Royal Night is worth around 100? Im going with a sample but im not sure maybe if you catch it at a different price range.
Actually I wear Terre D’Hermes as a signature, I think it’s pretty versatile even if you don’t wear a suit as a lot of people says.
But before this I used to wore The One edp, a true masterpiece. But man, that performances are outrageous. A fragrance so good that last and project so little should be banned. I still wear it, and every time I do I think always the same thing “in an hour no one’s gonna smell it, not even me”. 😭😭😭
I just bought it. Definitely a 4-6 hour scent .. a couple extra sprays will get you to the 6ish time frame
unfortunately i spray a good 20 sprays for the one edp

Edp is a classic masterpiece period..but I'm about to get Mysterious Nights..
Is their a niche version of this ? For example blue Irish tweed there is the cheap version blue water in this case is their a niche house that has this DNA in their inventory that can last longer and overall better quality?
I'm new to fragrances so I went to the store a few days ago and smelled about 10 fragrances without doing much research at all and I ended up choosing D&G the one. I bought the EDT since I didn't know any better at the time I just loved the scent.

Who cares if people say the EDP is better. As long as you love the scent. I picked a 50ml EDT the other day that was half price for $50AUD and I am content with what I got for the price. If you like it, and fragrance channels say otherwise about the EDT; then stick with smells good to your nose and wallet. Hopefully you feel you made the right choice anyway.

I'm a big fan of The One Series, I DON"T own the EDT version, Sport or Gold (as I haven't gotten my nose on it yet).
My order would be
1. Royal Night and EDP (yes I picked two #1's)
2. Luminous Night though It doesn't perform as well as Royal and Mysterious but I LOVE the scent.
3. Mysterious Night, I was a bit leery of the Rose but I really like it.
4. Intense
5. Grey
6. Gentlemen, This one is last for me as I'm not a huge fan of lavender.
Keep an eye on fragnet Canada, I got my bottle of Luminous Night there for $110.85 but I'll warn you, I'll be in competition with you getting my backup bottle, it sells fast!!

The first fragrance my boyfriend invested in was the EDT and I absolutely love the scent on him. It lasts quite a while for him on his skin but I do have to agree, the longevity could be a little better. Still a great introductory fragrance for most in my opinion.
I love the EDT scent. Even tho I only get 3-4 solid hours before it’s a skin scent that’s usually more then enough for a date night. Can spray more later before going out if needed
Absolutly the one gold is best. Perfect smell
10/15 years ago EDT, was better in performance than my sauvage now, 12hrs+ ez

I find Royal night very similar to the original parfum, but lasts about half an hour longer..! None of the line has any lasting power..

the other day my girl said the edp was the best thing she ever smelled said it was really sexy and she never says that. today i put it on asked her opinion she said yuk its awful so i just wear what i like lol as women dont know what they like lol
D&G the One is a great scent but is in fact a cheap fragrance. From the original I had a 50 ML EDT, the Deo Spray and the aftershave tonic. Very nice scent, suitable for....a dinner out with my wife. 3 hours max. Finished the AS & the Deo but kept a tiny bit of EDT is the bottle. Less than 3 years after I bought it, the bit left in the bottle smelled horrible. Alcohol that turned sour. From all the fragrances I have (300+) this was one of the few that turned bad and for sure the fastest. Later I bought a special edition (with a gold Roman style coin) which is very much the same scent as the EDT, with equally bad performance. Then I bought the Parfum, followed by the original EDT again, simply as you described, for collection purpose. It was real cheap.
The One with a much better performance does sound tempting. Royal Night, Mysterious night, Luminous night, they just don't sound quite what I have been looking for: the One with a decent performance, including Cardamon/Tobacco. Maybe I better wait for The One Hilarious Night.
EDT was a major let down. Performance and projection was dissapointing. Edp is definitely the best.

I find Grey to be a fresher take on the original DNA. Fresh as in a tea note not citrus. I love it and it could definitely be a signature scent.

Well, wore each. The Royal Night is a little darker and much more similar to the One EDP. It’s good, it’s safe and it’s not really anything new.
The Mysterious Night could almost be considered a rose bomb at initial spray. But it settles to a spicy rose with a background of Oud. I was more impressed with this one than I was Royal night. This one could be unisex as well with the rose but it’s not too feminine for a man to wear. I like this one better because it’s more interesting to me

Just got Royal Night 6:00 and I am not feeling it. To me, it smells like playdough with essential oils
Bought D&G in 2002. My former girlfriend sprayed in on a teddy bear when I was not around, just to have me by her side. It was a simple round bottle with a silver cap. Wish I knew which one it was because I want to buy it again. Unfortunately, the bottles have changed so I have no comparison. Wich one of The Ones is the fruitiest with the most citrus scent?

I was thinking of buying like 5 or 6 amazing fragrances which are going to be; Ysl - La Nuit de l'homme, Parfums de Marley - Layton, Viktor and Rolf - Spicebomb Extreme, Mancera - Cedrat Boise, Chanel - Bleu de Chanel Parfum and maybe Dior - Homme Intense or Dolce and Gabbana - The One EDP. What do you think?
I only have Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDT & Parfum, YSL - Y EDP and Chanel - Bleu de Chanel EDP at the moment.

Don’t buy BdC parfum if you already have the EDP version. Better to spend your money on other fragrances like Armani or Dior Sauvage.
