I"ve honestly gotten lucky with my dad having good taste. Years ago he got me a Dylan Blue gift set , a bottle of Light Blue, and some Jimmy Choo Man as starters. The late Kevin Samuels hipped me to Spice Bomb Extreme, Carolina Herrera for Men, and Apple Brandy by Killian. All solid solid blind buys. The Carolina in particular I wore to a date at a modern speakeasy type of bar. While decscending to the lower floor, my date and I walked past a middle aged couple and the wife did a full 180 while they were leaving and told her husband "Oh my god, he smells so good." I'd never had that happen to me but it felt great.
I'm glad to see Versace Pour Homme getting the love it got. It is a classic scent. I dont get where alot of people are saying it smells outdated. I absolutely love it and it will forever be something I will always own and have owned it since 2009.
I bought it a bottle a while back since I’ve heard so much good stuff about it. However I ended up returning it bc the scent was way too soft and wouldn’t project more than an hour or two, it was as if I didn’t spray anything on IMO. Maybe I just got a bad bottle but I’m not sure. Has anyone else had a similar experience?? Dylan Blue on the other hand smells amazing and lasts pretty much the whole day on me.

@@thomasbarnes7088 YSL Y EDP is more refined and darker than Sauvage EDT. Easier to wear, too. I would get that first, then if you need a more piercing, ambroxan-ish Blue Fragrance, then i would get Sauvage EDT. Sauvage EDP is more tame, slightly sweet, less spicy than EDT version.
Prada Amber is the best Prada fragrance. Clean, fresh, masculine but has a slight feminine smell that attracts the ladies. I own all the other Prada frags but this one gets the most attention.

Bentley intense for men is the best in my opinion, I got 2 compliments in the first day wearing it, its a really good masculine fragrance that everyone loves and its cheap
Love Dylan Blue, just ran out. I will be buying it again. I find it to be a Blue fragrance plus with an incense note. Lots of compliments and comments when I wear it, but I will wear it just for myself

Halloween Man X is my cheapest yet favourite fragrance. I’m so happy I bought this! The coffee note is amazing as it sits over the sweetness of the base. 10/10 would recommend
One of my best buys this year was TMW Parfum. Performs amazing for me, I get a solid 3 hours of the "grape soda" smell, then just hours of gentle vanilla after that.
The Most Wanted smells great and I stay getting compliments on that. I like it way better than Wanted by Night. I honestly don’t get the hype around that one.
I own some of these fragrances, and I'll do a list of the ones I think are or aren't blind buy worthy (just my personal opinion): - Versace Eros: It's a blind buy if you're looking for a clubbing/sweet scent. But I still think there are better options that serve the same purpose (One Million Lucky and Le Male Le Parfum). - Dior Homme Cologne: Definitely a blind buy if you're looking for a summer/citrus scent, smells like a fragrant glass of lemonade. Just be aware that performance isn't a strong point for this one. - Montblanc Explorer: Definitely a blind buy if you're looking for a great signature scent. Isn't the most original fragrance in the market, but will please the vast majority of people that smell it. - Versace Pour Homme: I personally wouldn't recommend this one because the performance is terrible. It smells really good, like a typical blue and fresh fragrance, but the performance just makes it something that I don't think is worth your money. - Prada Luna Rossa Carbon: Blind buy for sure. Great signature scent, very similar to Sauvage (as seen in the video), but I personally even think it's even better than Sauvage. - Prada L'Homme: One of my top 5 fragrances, I absolutely love it. That being said, I don't think it's a blind buy. It could be if you want a safe fragrance for work or professional environments. It's very heavy on the iris, which some people love, others not much. I'd say most people would love this one, but try testing it out before buying a whole bottle.
I’m not into blowing money on fragrances I’ve never smelled before. I recommend going to the department stores and trying them on first hand. Now I will blind buy aftershaves, but they’re much cheaper.

Even though many people say great things about Versace Dylan Blue, I would not recommend it as a blind buy fragrance. I just think that it really is a fragrance that depends on your skin.

Dior Homme 2020 was a weird blind buy for me. I thought I was getting something else based on the tester which I later found out to be the pre-2020 Dior Homme. So when I got home I was surprised to see that the bottle I got wasnt anything like the tester. I ended up loving it after I got over that and now wear it often.
Great video as usual. Spicebomb extreme is for sure a great blind buy, I actually blind bought the original spicebomb and I feel it is too mellow and kind of regretted it. The most wanted and wanted by night are just amazing fragrances.

All the Prada Luna rossa line is excellent.. Dior sauvage edt and elixir are a must. All give alot of compliments.. Dior sauvage edt will get a compliment everytime u wear it
I only have the Versace Pour Homme. When I was trying out some cologne many years ago, I tried Versace pour homme and i bought right away. it's so good. Yesterday I went to Nordstrom to try the Prada L'Homme because of the many good reviews but to me it was weak! Almost no smell. I did smell somewhat of a powdery sent but very weak for me. From all the testing that I did yesterday, to me i like the YSL Y and Dolce light blue intense.
Ive just started my fragrance collection. Im a big fan of citrus, fresh,aquatics, cardamom , lavender types fragrances i have plenty of those i also have spicebom and stronger with u. What i dont have is a dark black mysterious type of a fragrance i was thinking prada lhomme intense but I hesitate to buy it cuz i know there are more chances that I’ll like the original better

I went for testing today and checked out many of this list. My favourites being the Versace line with pour homme at the top and Prada l'homme. Wanted to check the Prada Amber, too but the did not have it. My stunner is Dior homme cologne, the scent is absolutely incedible, simple yet outstandig, it feels luxurious and makes me feel good. Funny how george fragrance apprentice just recently said how old smelling versace pour homme is and i completely disagree. As you say here, it’s super safe and it was ahead of its time actually and still smells modern and great. If there is one frag worthy of the blindbuy tag it’s versace pour homme.

Yeah I can cosign that these are 10 great blind buys I mean some are definitely stronger and it really depends on a person's taste but yeah definitely a great selection.

I own and love most of these, but I feel like I'm one of the few who can't stand Prada L'homme. blind bought and scrubbed it off twenty minutes after I put it on, had it up on Mercari that same afternoon lol. I learned quickly that I do NOT like iris 😂

If you're new to frangrance world , don't blind buy Azzaro wanted by night , did that mistake and hated it.. the rest of the picks are amazing, I would go with Prada Lhomme Intense over the original, Prada carbon and Dior Lhomme Cologne are definite blind buys 👌🏽...

YSL Y EDP is the safest blind buy out there... I don't know why it isn't even in this list. I mean these are almost all great fragrances, but sure not all of them are safe as blind buys.

Bought spicebomb as a blind buy on UA-cam reviews and hated it, has a medicinal eucalyptus smell to it I guess that's the 'spicy' note everyone talks about, yet nobody mentioned how much it resembles eucalyptus oil 🙄
I tried Prada carbon at the store the other day and could barely smell anything. I sprayed a few sprays on a sample stick and had my roommate smell it and she could barely smell it too. Maybe it was just a bad tester batch or something.

Wanted By Night want love at first smell for me either, I didn’t get the hype but my second wear made me do a complete 180.
I barely got it and the dry down is suppper sweet reminds me of smoked barbecue

Yeah they got rid of the iris. A lot of people hate on the 2020 edition for this reason but I'm glad you ended up liking it so much

I recommend Bentley Momentum Intense as an awesome blind buy. Masculine and attention grabbing but not screechy nor sweet.

Great video as usual. Spicebomb extreme is for sure a great blind buy, I actually blind bought the original spicebomb and I feel it is too mellow and kind of regretted it. The most wanted and wanted by night are just amazing fragrances.

All the Prada Luna rossa line is excellent.. Dior sauvage edt and elixir are a must. All give alot of compliments.. Dior sauvage edt will get a compliment everytime u wear it

I only have the Versace Pour Homme. When I was trying out some cologne many years ago, I tried Versace pour homme and i bought right away. it's so good. Yesterday I went to Nordstrom to try the Prada L'Homme because of the many good reviews but to me it was weak! Almost no smell. I did smell somewhat of a powdery sent but very weak for me. From all the testing that I did yesterday, to me i like the YSL Y and Dolce light blue intense.
Ive just started my fragrance collection. Im a big fan of citrus, fresh,aquatics, cardamom , lavender types fragrances i have plenty of those i also have spicebom and stronger with u. What i dont have is a dark black mysterious type of a fragrance i was thinking prada lhomme intense but I hesitate to buy it cuz i know there are more chances that I’ll like the original better

I went for testing today and checked out many of this list. My favourites being the Versace line with pour homme at the top and Prada l'homme. Wanted to check the Prada Amber, too but the did not have it. My stunner is Dior homme cologne, the scent is absolutely incedible, simple yet outstandig, it feels luxurious and makes me feel good. Funny how george fragrance apprentice just recently said how old smelling versace pour homme is and i completely disagree. As you say here, it’s super safe and it was ahead of its time actually and still smells modern and great. If there is one frag worthy of the blindbuy tag it’s versace pour homme.
Could you do a video where you show examples of what to wear with some of your favorite fragrances? Sometimes I have trouble picking out the “right” fragrance to go with a particular outfit so just interested in your take on fragrance would go “best” with a particular. I know it’s subjective but would like to see your input on outfit styles with fragrances.

Blind bought Halloween Men X. Hated it and sold it directly. Also Prada L'Homme Intense is too irritating for me. Prada L'Homme however is blind buy worthy imho.

Oddly enough I have about 20 designer fragrances and my wife likes every one of them except for wanted by night 😆 I absolutely love it and can pretty much never wear it because she hates it... She does however like the most wanted 🤷🏻

I've got Pour homme and Dylan blue and I dont like them that much.Your Pour homme is way darker blue then mine. One of ours is a fake haha.I've spent over 4k on cologne in the last 3 months. My gf isn't happy haha!
It is surprising for me the love Versace Dylan Blue gets in the community (maybe outside too, but I don´t know anyone that wears it) ... For me it doesn't have a pleasant smell at all...

I own and love most of these, but I feel like I'm one of the few who can't stand Prada L'homme. blind bought and scrubbed it off twenty minutes after I put it on, had it up on Mercari that same afternoon lol. I learned quickly that I do NOT like iris 😂

L'Homme was the first fragrance, where the drydown gave me goosebumps.

If you're new to frangrance world , don't blind buy Azzaro wanted by night , did that mistake and hated it.. the rest of the picks are amazing, I would go with Prada Lhomme Intense over the original, Prada carbon and Dior Lhomme Cologne are definite blind buys 👌🏽...

YSL Y EDP is the safest blind buy out there... I don't know why it isn't even in this list. I mean these are almost all great fragrances, but sure not all of them are safe as blind buys.

Bought spicebomb as a blind buy on UA-cam reviews and hated it, has a medicinal eucalyptus smell to it I guess that's the 'spicy' note everyone talks about, yet nobody mentioned how much it resembles eucalyptus oil 🙄
I tried Prada carbon at the store the other day and could barely smell anything. I sprayed a few sprays on a sample stick and had my roommate smell it and she could barely smell it too. Maybe it was just a bad tester batch or something.
i think dylan blue is more pleasing and safer than pour homme, the floral notes in pour homme get too be too much for me
