Ok, I used to sell Rainbows. They are not cheap and flimsy. That's a total lie. I don't like LIARS. My mother inherited one from her parents that still works great after a couple DECADES of use. Rainbows last 20 YEARS, easily. And you can replace the carpet sweeper part if it wears out for about the same price as a cheaper upright. I like the idea of an upright over a canister. The 3 year warranty seems a little short for a $600 machine. Make the warranty 5 years and that seems more legit.

I'm very curious about this upright. After growing up with a Rainbow vac and owning the new SRX and E2 black like yours, they're not cheap! They're pretty solid machines but I do agree that the all canisters have they're plus and minus.

I have had my Rainbow SE for 25 years now. Just experienced my first issue with it. I bought it for $1600 in 1996. Found out it will cost about $3000 for a new one. I believe I made a very wise decision to purchase one way back then. But, not really sure I want to spend $3000 for a new one. UGH

I love my vacuum. How do I clean the bottom of the vacuum? It has lots of hair on the roll and can't figure out how to remove it so I can get the hair out? Thanks

I usually press the button to unlock the floor head from the vacuum and take the floor head somewhere and sit down flip it upside down and use scissors to clean it

Honestly this overseas made trash is NOT comparable to the Rainbow. The Rainbow does A LOT more. I would NEVER take the Quantum X into our horses stall to vacuum him - I have with my Rainbow multiple times. The Rainbow SANITIZES, DEODORIZES and PURIFIES the air. It is also a carpet shampooer, hard floor cleaner, and a spot shampooer on top of being a vacuum. The pull behind canister design makes it easier to move around. With the upright you are literally pushing the water basin around when you vacuum. It’s very hard on the back. Stop comparing this cheap garbage to a Rainbow. Clearly this is a paid advertiser. I’ve asked Quantum several questions and they’ve said it’s just a vacuum. Their warranty is also trash compared to the Rainbow. Several users said it broke, it was hard to use, the warranty was a nightmare AND they had to pay return shipping. The Rainbow is expensive, but you get what you pay for. I’ve owned an older model and now the SRX. It wasn’t cheap but I have groomed all of my best with the pet attachment and the multiple speed settings, I unclogged my dishwasher, shampooed my cars interior as well as the rugs in my home, I have cleaned my dryer vent, I have drained a toilet when I needed to replace a seal, I have blown up an air mattress, I have sanitized my couch and cushions, I have cleaned and sanitized my mattresses, I have cleaned horse sheets and blankets, I have sanitized and cleaned plushies and pillows, I have done SO MUCH with my Rainbow in the last 5 years that I have owned this model. I guarantee the Quantum vacuum would NOT hold up to a fraction of what my Rainbow has been through. It still works and smells the same as it did the day I bought it. I started as a customer and I now sell them after seeing the value first hand as a customer. Rainbow is also manufactured in the US - Cadillac Michigan. Quantum is not - it’s made in China. Stop comparing this to something it’s not comparable to. The plastic on a Rainbow is not trash - my son dropped mine on accident and it still did not crack. Compare this to a Shark or a Dyson. That’s more on par with this China made crap.
