I feel I need to be completely honest about this with you, especially since you are always so honest and transparent with us. When you started talking about not being able to cross your legs tears welled up in my eyes. They were hot, heavy and not to be ignored. I currently can’t cross my legs comfortably, not even close to comfortably in fact. So I just don’t do it. I went through a terrible divorce about 2 years ago and man does dealing with infidelity, mental abuse and abandonment really mess you up! I can not and will not “blame” my divorce for my current weight issues. However, after going through that situation I completely let myself go. I didn’t have to be his “trophy wife” anymore so why not eat a sleeve of Oreos if I wanted them? My current weight issues are ALL ON ME. I’ve quietly suspected that for some time now, but hearing you being so real with yourself has just made me openly and loudly admit it to myself and everyone else that -> I
I'm sorry you went through that horrible divorce experience. If you have weight to lose I would recommend looking into Dr. McDougal. You can find him on UA-cam. I've lost 35 pounds since November 2019. I love the way of eating that he recommends since I never have to be hungry. It feels amazing to be able to move so easily. Before, the weight actually made it uncomfortable to move.
I can relate to this comment so much. Not being able to cross my legs was a silent shame I stuffed down and never gave a second thought to. It wasn't until I coul that I realized the shame and hurt I hide when I couldn't. Let it out and feel all the feels!
When you’re ready, you will find time for yourself. I sat at the kitchen counter one day and though to myself I need to do something now. ( for me it was buying into some products I had heard about, and paid 200 dollars for and said I will follow this plan. I did and glad I did, have I struggled, years later yes, but now 15 pounds away. Whatever you choose, make a plan and stick to it! You’ll be glad you did, do it for you not for any man.
💗💗 sending you a virtual hug, hope that you find your way to a healthy life style when you're ready meanwhile it's ok to feel however you want to feel 😊
GOOD for YOU!! I'm a 74 yr olw widow. Last year I weighed 242. Today I weigh 170; l'm not finished yet. I've been on a Keto diet since last December except for an emotional cheeto binge that caused a 10# gain but made me notice the bad physical discomfort the junk food caused. I LOVE your Daily Dozen list! I started my own immediately. Old habits of thinking & feeling don't encourage positive self esteem or allow my to affirm myself. I had started trying to change this but was clueless. Your list is going to be a major tool for me. Thank you. May GOD bless you for sharing this video.
I like this idea!! Things that are going on my list are: have breakfast, drink water (I forget to drink, so need to remind myself), 75 sit-ups, take my vitamins, call/text my dad and brother, pray, get dressed (corona = no work = too many PJ days), delete some old emails, read, have a healthy snack, listen to some relaxing music, give someone a complement. Starting with the last one now: Wow Cass, you have been doing great on your weightloss journey! You look fantastic. But more important: it looks like you FEEL good. Congrats on getting where you want to be!!
A daily thing I started a couple years ago was every morning to think of the worst or hardest thing I need to get done and do it before 9:00 a.m if possible. The day just looks up from there and you just feel powerful. My procrastination list is non existent now and I have so much less anxiety without a lot of things hanging over my head.
I love the idea of this list! I'm jumping in! Someone suggested I give myself a rule to do 10 counter push ups every time I enter the kitchen, lunges when walking down my hallway, and 10 crunches when I enter my bedroom, as a wonderful way to include some fitness. 110lbs!!! 20 yes ago I lost 109lbs, but it took 3 years!!! For me, it was fitness and food that helped me to lose it all. 🎉CONGRATULATIONS!🎉🙆🏼♀️ I couldn't be more proud of you! I'm happiest between 155-160lbs. Like you, I purposely gained several pounds back because I didn't feel good/healthy at 140lbs.
Two of my daily dozens would be: take a walk every day and finish the dishes before bed. Also, great to hear about your weight loss journey. So glad to hear about your non-scale victories. Good for you!
I've watched you for years and loved every bit of it! Congratulations on feeling better! I'm so glad that you still have your have your bright eyes and bubbly personality! Good luck in the rest of your journey!
🙋This may be a tad bit long so forgive me. Cas, this is my FAVORITE video you have posted for several reasons!!!!!!! 1: LOVE the Daily Dozen and how those 12 things have been enriching your life. Sometimes it's the simplist actions: hugs, compliments, stretching, laughter that makes the day so much sweeter. 2. You make me smile and laugh with you just being you.(Mr Roger's reference☺). 3. The growth you have shown since your surgery is amazing. It's not just about the weight. It's about the changes in our lives and other's lives as we go through the changes. No joint pain,😳towels fitting,😳 energy😁 and so on is just the icing on the cake or since sugar makes you feel bad maybe your fav veggie. LOL 4. I just wanted to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my ❤ for sharing this journey with us. It is so inspirational on many levels. We have missed you these last few weeks. You are a 1 of a kind and I appreciate how you have embraced your body with love at all stages. The energy just radiates from you. Great Job. Keep enjoying all those amazing things and opportunities that are coming your way.
I'm calling you out on your awesomeness girl!! 🙏💞 Cass you are so inspiring and informative!! it really does motivate me to keep creating helpful, health content for my channel!🙏stay safe lovely lady.
🤣😂🤣 Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Your honesty is so awesome! Love your videos! I had never seen you until your HGTV show, but I am so glad that I did find you! You are a blessing to the UA-cam community! 🌴😎
I love that your priorities include affection with your family. I struggle with this too kissing and hugging it is not the norm but it is so precious when it organically happens! Thank you for sharing.
Love 💘your videos! Ok, I will start my daily dozen! First on the list...I will spend 20 minutes a day clearing clutter areas. It seems If I can break this down to segments of time instead of all of it at one time, I can Spring clean daily instead of feeling soooo overwhelmed!
Congratulations, Cas...101 lbs. down is a phenomenal accomplishment whether you had surgery or not!!!! You have so much to be proud of...& I am proud of you too!!! Keep up the good work...I wish I had the courage to have the surgery, but I had a liver transplant 5 years ago, so I’ve been through all the surgery I care to have...the transplant was quite rough!!! Cas, good luck in the future, & God bless you & your family!!! Stay safe...stay well...❤️❤️❤️
I've been doing this for a couple of months and here are some of what I list and try to accomplish: House Blessing (Spot Clean the whole house), Zone Clean (Thoroughly clean one zone), Sew, Cook, Garden, Laundry, Work on Family Tree, Worship, Read the Word, Read something else, Pray, Call somebody and Journal. I also add specific things needing to be done on that day like business type calls or paying a bill. Thanks for your sharing and you look great!
You look amazing. My husband and I had the surgery 6 yrs ago . We lost a little over a 100 lbs. each. I am proud for you. I have been missing your videos. Glad you are back.
Can honestly say you are the most genuine UA-camr I've come across and you inspire me all the time. I believe all of your videos in some way or another are also giving strategies to improve our mental health. As mothers it can be hard to remember to prioritise this. THANK YOU, you've helped me immensely xx
I have this list, but I like the idea of being specific. It had ten points I need to write about and check off. Spiritual, movement, home, service to others, social, learn something, self compassion, off the grid, time alone and self indulgence. You look amazing so happy for you, you are an inspiration
This gives me motivation to get back to something I call my Positive List. I write down 10 positive things that have happened that day. It does help my mood when I do it consistently.
What a wonderful idea! I'm all about those tiny habits. And I teared up for you at the end when you were talking about all the things you can do now. It truly is the small, simple things. Sending love, as always.
I started following you about a month ago! You are an inspiration to this over-sixty year, old lady! I’ve organized so much. I wanted you to know that I love your honest, sweet, loving, funny self. God bless you in all you do. You share and help more than just with organization. You seem like a friend to young and old...since I’m old💕but young at heart💕, I appreciate you!
Cass, we have missed you so much. You look fabulous. Keep up the great, hard work. Thank you for sharing both your 12 "encouraging" list and your personal journey. Looking forward to more videos.
I love your videos, it's like sitting down with a good friend! You are so down to earth! Thank you for being real and raw with us, you are truly an inspiration! :)
So happy about your weight loss . You look fabulous !!! I’m so glad you can be healthier ... so important !!! You inspire me to go for that last 25 I need to lose for my health !
This daily dozen list is great. I love your videos and especially enjoy your honesty and your "staying to the end". You look incredible and even more importantly you glow with your newfound health. Congratulations and thank you for all that you do.
You look incredible, Cas, and I'm so grateful that you feel healthier. You were talking in another video about trying to figure out how to dress your new body and thought I'd just mention The Dressing Your Truth program. It has helped me embrace my body and what shapes and colors work best for me. Shopping is way faster now. Please disregard this message at will! It is truly an honor to witness your journey. Thanks for sharing so candidly. I was before your surgery, but I'm still cheering for you all the way! Way to go!
I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! I was worried and didn't want you to do it. I lost 100 in year but have gained 40 back and trying to get back in groove! I am going to do the 12 things wrote my own down! I think everything is mental! When it comes down with it you have to do whats good for you! AGAIN SO HAPPY FOR YOU!
Cas you are beautiful as ALWAYS. You have worked so hard to get where you are & my hats off to you. Good for YOU.... You are so inspiring to me & I love to watch you videos because they always make me smile & walk away from my computer feeling so good. Thank you for your honesty and transparency.
Thank you so much for talking about your surgery. Congratulations on your weight loss. I am in the process of getting approved and it was such a motivation to hear your non scale victories. Be blessed beautiful!!!! Thank you for your videos!!!
I love this Daily Dozen suggestion. I had to watch the video twice to get it right. Of course I wrote my own 12 items. Some of these things I already do..... so maybe I should replace them with something else..... eating fruit and eating vegetables, and drinking 64 ounces of water made it to the list as well as doing my PT exercises. Changing my journal from a diary to a gratitude journal is big. I really have so much to be grateful for. Prayer and Mindfulness made the list. Like you said of yourself, I am an introvert, I don’t make phone calls, but I am going to make an effort. I really appreciate your videos, you are a bit of sunshine in my days. Thank you. I too had the same surgery, about 15 years ago. I lost 120 lbs. and have kept the weight off. It is one of the best things I ever did for myself. I’m healthy and happy. I’m 74. I wish you every happiness, you are a beautiful person.
You're just amazing. So honest and up front. Makes me look at myself and want the same. I procrastinate all the time. I'll do that list and give myself a kick up the bum. Thank you Cas xxx
Love your health update. We do make excuses for our aches and pains... I know I certainly do, and it has just been since gaining weight (no baby excuse for me!). However, since first starting to watch your videos- I’ve always thought you were beautiful (both inside and out!). Proper weight is for good health, not because you weren’t pretty! Keep up the good work 🥰
YES!!! This is a must do for me. I have been sliding downhill fast on the must do's for the daily. I have always been work from home so this will help with the productivity! CONGRATULATIONS on the journey! You are still beautiful and I am so happy your insides are matching your outsides now! Keep stretching. and do Standing Crunches. same effect no floor time. because fitness doesn't have to be crazy! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for sharing your daily dozen, Cass. And even more for sharing more of your weight loss journey at the end. It takes guts (pardon the punn) to put yourself out there, but you do it with grace. And you are looking amazing! 100+lb... way to go girl!
OMG I had gastric bypass and lost 110 pounds. So much of what you related was/is true for me also. Wrapping a towel around my body, crossing my legs for the first time - amazing! And yes not feeling so hot after eating sugar, lol. But so worth it because I also notice that my health has much improved. I am almost 5 years out now and still every day I see and feel the benefits! So happy for you!!!
You look amazing--a whole new woman & you were beautiful before! I am determined to clean ALL of my house--clearing clutter, deep clean all areas during this quarantine. You inspire me with this as I am always overwhelmed in this!
Came across this old video. Love it! Going to make a list! I can so relate to you on several levels...getting dressed, keeping in contact either someone, exercise. And weight loss...on all levels. ❤
It is a beautiful thing to see someone loving and nurturing themself. You are inspiring. You look absolutely beautiful at both sizes, but now you look so healthy and vibrant. Glowing from the inside out!! So happy for you!!
Right on, good for you on your weightloss mama! I love the idea of small but motivating tips, especially the affection for your kids. I need to do this.
You are looking great; miss seeing weekly videos. After I lost weight crossing my legs was a revelation. You really don’t understand until you’ve not been able to do it. ❤️🌸❤️🌸
A number of years ago, I lost 100 pounds too and I am so happy for you, because I know how much better that makes me feel too! Also, I just want to say how much I love your heart. I try to give compliments a lot too to strangers and to others in my life. I believe there’s not enough of that in this world. I’m so glad you have this channel! You are such a special person!
Thanks, Cass. The update was very encouraging. You might help others to make a decision that will help them. Being obese for the past 40 years I wish I'd done the surgery way back when. Now I'm losing weight AGAIN. But at my age the knees are shot and the skin will make for a great sail when I go out on the water. I'm so happy for you. You looks 10, or maybe 20, years younger and so energetic.
I do something similar, but mine is a 5 at a time list. In the morning its things like shower, put dishes away, take vitamins, etc. When those are wiped off my list (dry erase), I add 5 things I'd like to accomplish that day, such as create something, clean something, daily devotional, exercise, run errands. Being home since March, I had to find my new normal and also keep myself busy enough that I didn't veg out and eat all day. I don't always check off everything, like exercising, but I'm a work in progress. Keep up the good work, Cas. You look great and I always enjoy your fun personality.
Seriously, you are so adorable. Your video is like my sister is talking to me. You're so cute how you hid behind your paper, when you said about the crunches. The whole talk was uplifting and you said it in a way, that made me feel like I might be able to do it too!! Touche
Cass I LOVE how real you are!😁👍❤ You totally help me not feel like I'm alone! Thank you for this Daily Dozen list... the hug one especially. Hope you're great!
Wow! Can I just say WOW! You’re always honest and transparent, but this video is so YOU. Your beauty is radiated even more through your confidence. You did YOU how it worked and made you feel right, and that’s AMAZING! To top it off you already have a great personality....you’re SO funny!!!! Keep up the good work! We missed you too!
Great job Cass. You are inspiring and I have loved your content for years. Thank you for being so raw and real with those of us who stay to the end :) Godspeed.
Thank you for your encouraging words!! I too have struggled with weight.....your journey has been such an inspiration! Your words-in this video - mad me cry! and i want to do better! thank you!!
Daily dozen sounds like a plan! So many things I need to do more often. I'll have to think on this a bit, though. My word for the year is Transformation because I started the year with some big changes. This could be a good start. Congrats on the weight loss. Can you imagine carrying your daughter around EVERYWHERE???
You look AMAZING girl! So happy for you! You have gain years to live and spend it with you kids, family and friends. You are our Role Model. Doing this list right now. Thanks a bunch! 😊❤️
You are a beautiful woman inside and out. Am so glad the operation worked for you. Thanks for sharing your list with us. Have let my gratitude list languish for awhile but I have much to be grateful for so will start adding to my list.
Cass, I too have missed you on you tube. You look wonderful but you always have to me! Before or after weight loss. I like the daily dozen idea. Keep in touch with us. We all love you!💖💕💞
Congratulations on your weight loss!! You look GREAT! 👍 I’ve been considering surgery but I’m holding it off trying to do it on my own. I’ve gained the Covid 10! 😬🤭🥺 I need to change. Bottom line I feel encouraged knowing you did it, I can do it!
“Some of you might think that’s sad-I don’t care. Make your own list.” 😂🤣🤣💕💕💕 I feel ya!! Great idea and think for sharing!!
Omg I loved how real she was with that comment 🤣🤣 Totally can relate
Lol right
That comment made me laugh out loud. I’ve been married 43 years and I get what she’s saying.
My favorite line in this video! 😂
Lol yes the best part 😂😂😂
“I’m not woo woo the universe is manifesting but it is kind of manifesting” This is why we love you! You are so genuine and funny 😍
agreed! :)
I agree too! You are so awesome Cas!

After watching I got that "aw good for her," feeling, like I got a good update from an old friend in real life.
So glad for you!
“A work in progress” - aren’t we all? I like this idea...gonna come up with my list. Thanks for the idea.
You read my mind.
You've always been beautiful, but I'm so happy about your weight loss and health improvements!
Laura Arnason she looks amazing
I thought the exact same thing.

I like these. As an older woman with chronic pain, I found spreading some tasks over 72 hours helps - the maintenance things.
So happy for you Cass. I am so happy to see you back! Believe me. I am watching your older videos!!
Congratulations on the weight loss Cassie! That's such good news. A testament to the surgery AND the work you have put in. 👏🌻💜
You look great. You’ve always looked beautiful but now you an see an inner confidence. You look healthy and happy.

Your looking WONDERFUL !!!! What ever it takes to make you happy and healthy .
OMG!! Congratulations on the weight loss! I had bypass surgery in 2006 and it was the best thing I ever did! You’re doing a great job!!
You are like a breath of fresh air! Thank you for being your unique self and encouraging others.
So happy about your weight loss . You look fabulous !!! I’m so glad you can be healthier ... so important !!! You inspire me to go for that last 25 I need to lose for my health !
Thank you for reminding me that, with all this ‘social distancing,’ it is important to keep in contact with family & friends. And you look great!!
I hope you know what a gift you are to this world. Truly.
This daily dozen list is great. I love your videos and especially enjoy your honesty and your "staying to the end". You look incredible and even more importantly you glow with your newfound health. Congratulations and thank you for all that you do.

I’m so pleased to see you happy and know that you are healthier, you are far too young to be dealing with joint pain etc!
If it wasn't for Get Organized, I would have never found you. You've changed my life in just a few days
Congratulations! You look healthier, more beautiful and with more energy too!
Awesome...100lbs in 6 months...wow. You look healthy and beautiful. So happy for you!
So happy for you! I like the list idea! I too have to remind myself to connect with people. I really like being alone. Happy Spring!!
So happy for you that you are feeling better and healthy!! You are an inspiration! 💕
I love your sincerity Cass! You're such an amazing person! 🥳
I'm so happy for you that you feel better now!
Congratulations on your weight loss! And thank you for sharing UA-cam with us!
Thanks for sharing your daily dozen, Cass. And even more for sharing more of your weight loss journey at the end. It takes guts (pardon the punn) to put yourself out there, but you do it with grace. And you are looking amazing! 100+lb... way to go girl!
Thank you for being so real and open about your weight loss journey. God bless.
Thank you for sharing your story of weight loss, how you felt and how you are feeling now. I'm happy for you. Congrats 😊
Glad you made a video! I hope u do podcasts again too. You look healthy and happy. Stay safe and welcome back
I've had a few new ones uploaded recently!
@@Clutterbug Are the podcasts the same content as the UA-cam videos? Or are they different?
You look amazing--a whole new woman & you were beautiful before! I am determined to clean ALL of my house--clearing clutter, deep clean all areas during this quarantine. You inspire me with this as I am always overwhelmed in this!
You go girl! Gratitude journals are really helpful for me as well and inspire me to appreciate each n everyday. Congrats on the weight loss too.
Thanks for these practical tips CASS. I’m so happy for your progress and the happiness it’s brought you.
Came across this old video. Love it! Going to make a list! I can so relate to you on several levels...getting dressed, keeping in contact either someone, exercise. And weight loss...on all levels. ❤
CAs, you are inspiring in so many ways.. you have an indomitable spirit. Thank you for sharing with us
It is a beautiful thing to see someone loving and nurturing themself.
I am soo very proud of you, Cas! You go girl! Thank you for "livin' out loud!"
Ur videos and tips make me so motivated and helps me to be clutter free in physically and mentally .

You are looking great; miss seeing weekly videos. After I lost weight crossing my legs was a revelation. You really don’t understand until you’ve not been able to do it. ❤️🌸❤️🌸
You are such a beautiful soul. I'm so happy for you and your progress💜💛
Touche
I am going to acknowledge you today! Your videos are helpful and always make me smile!
Cass I LOVE how real you are!😁👍❤ You totally help me not feel like I'm alone! Thank you for this Daily Dozen list... the hug one especially. Hope you're great!
Great for you! You did it! Now you are enjoying it! You look awesome! God bless you!
Your words-in this video - mad me cry! and i want to do better! thank you!!
Yes...you are a beautiful work in progress.

gut-laughed out loud at 11:15pm
I’m so happy for you, Jess!!!!💜
You look amazing. Just glowing and gorgeous.
I am so proud of you for making your health a priority. I am struggling myself to make changes and I admire your fortitude.
So Proud of you and happy for your weight loss and feeling better overall!!!
Im so happy to see you happy! Love you cass!
Such a nice idea - and pretty attainable. Congratulations on your weight loss. I've lost 53 lbs over the past 3 years and do feel so much better.
