1. A list of resistance strategies: Make it part of your *morning routine to go through them in order to actually remember and practice the things you've written on the list) Furthermore, you can clarify the list by making emphasis on the things that are and the things aren't working for you. 2. A list of emotional regulation technniques: Replace unhealthy emotional regulation technniques with healthy ones and see what and what works for you. Start asking yourself higher quality questions that you should ask frequently. Figure out what traits the best version of yourself practices and ask yourself questions in relation to these traits (e.g if you want to embrace courage frequently ask yourself what would a courageous person do?). 3. Create a list of topics to journal on (problems to work through, things to make a decision on, beliefs to reframe; #1 a list of past stressors, #2 a list of current stressors & #3 a list of personality traits that you think are giving you stress) 4. Create a list of life areas 5. Create a list of moments, of media and of learning 6. Create a list of 12 questions
I'm a mental health clinician, and I think it's great that you're speaking to emotion regulation. I think a huge amount of people think they aren't allowed to feel their icky feelings, but then will constantly struggle against that. And there are also people who can get stuck in those feelings, and don't know what to do next, and the next step is literally to do the next right thing in the direction of who you want to be, even if it's a tiny small step. And all of it IS hard work and uncomfortable! So people will avoid discomfort and therefore avoid doing the work. Do the work, people 😅
I am SO into lists lately! I currently have a wishlist, reading list, a watch list and an one day/maybe list but I'm always open to create more! Thanks for the inspiration✨
For someone with adhd, I’m interested to hear what lists and strategies your sister uses. (I still struggle navigating in life because of adhd, so happy to hear more tips and tricks). But yeah, i know this isn't an adhd channel :) Anyway, thank you for helping me easier apply these lists in my everyday life! 🙏 In some ways it is lifechanging
I love brain dumping my ideas and thoughts. If I don’t, then I do forget small things that I really wanted to focus on. And before you know it, another month has gone by. Writing things down is being intentional. I love the ideas you have here!!
Thank you for this video. Lists are so helpful and important. For me journaling and writing is essential to express emotion. Lists are most helpful for memory and for to-dos. This is so nice. Sometimes certain types of lists I never look back on.
I love lists for the benefits it has when it comes to clearing my mind and just turn messy thoughts into actionable steps. And this video will be good to come back to and reflect on when I found my current list system no more effective. But as of now, more lists ideas! YES!
Trying to journal has resulted in one thing...a stack of semi-used notebooks that I now have to repurpose. I would love to figure it out because I used to love writing.
Love this as always! You may just be interested in knowing - Teal Swan is a real dodgy person. I listened to "The Gateway" podcast recently which is about her and absolutely bonkers.
I'm only 2 minutes in but I feel like this is genius lol. Like basically it seems like you're saying to consistently work on your strategies on paper/keyboard instead of JUST trying to do them, it helps build the thought of them into your mind to remember. Idk if this makes sense haha
I absolutely love your videos, I also have adhd and your videos have helped a lot! I like to keep playing it in the background while I take notes, but I see the background play is turned off. I understand why, but it is really hand though
Love the video as always! You should add list of your favourite questions to your website. I would love to read them and get more inspired. (I am sure you have a bunch of great ones)
I've been subscribed to you for so long yet I have not went into action with every device you've taken. I want to change, I have failed both of my college classes because I had no motivation or no plan, or time management made for me to do my classwork. I've tried journaling too and I've felt nothing or I just feel lazy to write something. I hope to change for the better. I cant stop beating myself up mentally and fail my own life, fail my mother.
I have recently been in a very similar boat with failing and I so desperately wanted change too. But the only way I found change is by taking action. First, as small as making my bed every single day, then building up like levels. My advice is keep trying to make change as much as you can even if you keep failing, like trial and error. Definitely much easier said then done, however use journaling as a means to find your answers. Maybe journal how you're craving change, maybe expand on what that change is and feels like. Hope this helps :) You got this!!!! P.S stop beating yourself up, I know how it feels but it's not worth it, try saying one good thing about yourself every day!
I was very happy to hear you address ADD ADHD right out of the gate yeah that is my problem with lists the intention to make the list isn't followed with action caused by the list anyway the other issue is you talk so fast that my ADHD mind can't retain what you've said because it just doesn't grab on to verbal information quickly at all I'm going to have to record this and slow it down or find some way to reduce the playback speed excellent information I just want to be able to digest it because although the attention deficit problem was identified the pace of the words flying by after cutting out all the natural pauses is kind of painful for people with my condition
I feel so weird rn. I am sick, laying in bed and due to me being sick i am having some "time off" of the two jobs i am working. I feel so unmotivated for just anything, i don't have any personal goals, i like the idea of your video but all I think is who has time for that and does it really matter.. should i just not only be a functioning human that goes to work, pleases other people, pays bills and does the household? I feel like that's all my life has been about for many years now and I am only 26. I feel kinda lost :(
Don't give up, if you do the journaling exercises she suggested you WILL feel better. Keep learning about mental health and self improvement and you will make progress.
I went threw a similar thing around your age. Is it hard to fit in goal work in-between the many hats women wear most definitely. But when you accomplish that first large life goal, life changing. My 1st huge goal was to get debt free it took me 5 years and many goal redirectings
I’ve got your app and im loving it. Im just starting out on UA-cam would you mind if I did a free review my boyfriend always taught me it’s better to ask before I do
Hi Chenda! You can jump into playback speed and slow it down if you need to. I know that most MuchelleB videos are about 10 minutes. Quick and quality is how I would summarize her content! 🤗💓🤗 Anyway! I hope it helps!

Hey girl ! I follow all right advisors all right paths in my life , life got never ever so so much better ! thank you girl from another mother !
Trying to journal has resulted in one thing...a stack of semi-used notebooks that I now have to repurpose. I would love to figure it out because I used to love writing.
“How can I better…” is so much more helpful, thank you for reminding me to work on my bad habits by asking the right questions 👍
This is my favourite video you’ve ever made! So valuable and helpful.

This is unrelated to life changing lists, but pastel blue is ABSOLUTELY your color. That's all. Thanks.
Thank you!!

Your tips are simply all I’ve been looking for.
You’ve made some incredible videos, but this has been my all time fave. Thank you ✨
Never clicked so fast! Your videos are so insightful and have helped me so much!❤️
You may want to look into who Teal Swan is before quoting her.
