- What if I could enter bullet time in competitive Counter-Strike whenever I wanted? In this video, we play a game of competitive CS:GO where I can speed up time and slow down time at will, becoming the ultimate Time Lord like Neo from The Matrix, Max Payne, or Killing Floor. Dodge This.

one of Warowls rules of counter-strike:
If you change the game in any way, the negev becomes meta.
let's call it 4th rule and we r all set
It's wrong though, the negev is just meta in normal CS too
@@mrastleysghost but not to the point where it overshadowed AK/M4/AWP, that was the point. some of these changes (e.g. 1000 hp) were so extreme to the meta those 3 are just not viable

now I know why valve doesn't make more updates, any change to the game and the Negev becomes the meta
CSGO perfectly threads the needle around balancing the negev. People think the ak or m4 are the core weapons, but no, it's the negev.
@@Propulus all the rules of counter strike are as they are to keep the negev in it's weakened state and prevent it from getting out of hand
I mean thats probably why it cost so much before the update in CSGO. Do that they could actually change things lmao
the negev is so slow that it will take almost 1 whole minute to rush any bombsite and also takes time to become accurate so i think its balanced, but the thing which isn't balanced is the deagle.. you can literally running 1 tap someone from across the map which needs a nerf to maybe only capable of 1 shot headshot from 1000 units instead of the entire map (1000 units is distance from bombsite A ledge to short on dust 2)
negev is ALWAYS the meta
i'm sure valorant is gonna make this concept an agent one way or another

I don't think so, that'd require some technical work, and if they can't even get a replay viewer working I doubt they'll be able to figure out bullet time.

@@noobguy9973 "where only YOU see it" That's what Red Dead 1 does, no idea about RDR 2, never played it. In the first game, it slows down time for you, making enemies move slightly slower for a moment. Then it simply plays out as normal with a slight speed up in time at the end to compensate, to the enemy it appears that you are wiggling your crosshair around for a moment.

The matrix mode is a cool idea
Its crazy how i naturally have that slowdown moment everytime i peek and miss a spraydown. My brain is just yelling at me to reset but my body just keeps going as if the next bullet will kill then im just sitting there watching in slowmotion until I die and i feel both an eternity and a split second has passed 🙃

Missreading the title i had another idea but idk if its possible in source.
I had the idea to swap the hitscan mecanics for a bullet time travel mecanic, if you make the bullets travel very slow it can be a good idea for a video like this.

its possible with server mods by making the weapons instead of using hitscan swapping with a projectile that tries to imitate a real bullet

Yes it is bullet time for everyone. Command is host_timescale x.
