The "gets things done" is far more than some of us expected. The reason he gets things done is because he knows how far he can push before he gets too much pushback to get ANYTHING done. Doesn't let perfect stand in the way of good. And if he fails, he goes back to the drawing board and reworks until he succeeds. Look at what he's been doing on student loans. He couldn't get the $20,000 blanket forgiveness he tried... BUT he's been able to shift rules and use existing regulations to reduce or eliminate debt for MANY people who were previously preyed on by predatory lending practices, had their PSLF applications denied for arbitrary reasons and so on.

2018 was an awesome year when gas prices were low, inflation was low, crime in our cities was lower, the border was secure, Putin was not killing people in the Ukraine, with record low unemployment for minorities. I was so much better off under Trump.
