Hi Joe, I figured that when the squirrel went north that I would have less distractions and more time in the shop........ But spring showed up and my list did too. I'm happy that you enjoyed this project. Thanks again for watching and commenting 👍.

Hey there Matt how have you been? Good I hope. I've been down for a bit. I had to have a stent put in each of my legs to hopefully improve the
blood flow. Slowly starting to feel better. Motor looks and sounds great. Talk to you soon. Have a great spring.

is there any reason you don't video you doing the work? eg machining, soldering etc. Nice runner that one. nice steady beat.

Hi Paul, I could video the machining, soldering, woodworking, painting and wood finishing but I figured that there were better "teachers" on UA-cam that really do a great job of it. I also try to keep the videos moving so you guys don't get bored. I will record the steps and the processes on the next project though and we'll see how the editing department fits it in 😉. And honestly if I am recording, I have to look through the screen to do whatever I'm doing so you see what I see. It makes a 5 minute job take 15 minutes (if you know what I mean). But I will give it go on the next project. Thank you for the suggestion and for watching 👍

@@steam212 Don't get me wrong , I'm not having a go, I just wondered why you did it this way, also it's interesting to see other peoples machines and the way they go about tackling jobs, there's always more than one way to skin a cat! and useful tips can be picked up by watching others. I've got your engine in a bottle on my to do list by the way😁

@@paulrayner4514 Never be afraid to try anything Paul, remember "an amateur built the ark and professionals built the Titanic". The hardest part about the engine in the lamp is stoking the boiler 🙂

Making these videos is not easy and ramen does not provide a lot of energy.

I understand it takes time and effort to produce content. But the reason i found this channel in the first place was a mention of the generator months ago.

Nice! Where you get the dynamo?

I made it, I really should make a video on how to build your own dynamo from a used starter 🤔. I'll get after it and share it with you guys👍
