So cool to see your new videos compare to all your early stuff. I just found you about a year ago and now I’m going through all your work. Great job and I love what you’re doing!
Right on Rokkit! Good going on that tuna!! Guarantee some killer sash! Like the new camera angles!! And the reels looking cherry!! Thanks for the video!
Natho Smatho Thanks mate, I sometimes put up pics of catches and dinners made from them on Facebook Check it out if your keen :) facebook.com/rokkitkit
Nice fish mate! And I like the switch of angles. Grab ya self some of those small fog pads inserts for the gopro and will be a lot clearer longer and add better clearer quality to the footage. keep em coming!
Livebait Lures Thats for watching, I did try the inserts but found they were only good for one go then you had to recharge, I need at least 3 in each camera and so it all started to be too much mucking around. I found the best sure fire way to get no fogging is to put the cameras into the fridge for around 30min+ then quickly close the case up as soon as you open the fridge before the any moist air gets in. But as you can see I got lazy this day and didn't bother :) Thanks for subscribing!
Owen Gray Always enjoy fresh tuna raw as sashimi for the first day or two then I really love give it a good salt and peppering on the outside then a 20sec fry on each side with a little sesame oil. So good! Add rice and and big heap of very thinly sliced cabbage. I just put a link to a comment for this vid for my Facebook check it out for pics of meals made from catches. Cheers Rod
I think it was the tuna doing a big circle under the yak, but up until then I think I though it was a shark... It was a while ago so i cant remember 100%
Great video. Who did the song? And man that is a really skinny kayak to be fishing for stuff that big. Mine is a lot longer and wider and I still get a little nervous and we have a lot less scary things swimming in the Long Island Sound.
Mate great videos I own a boat and I can't catch fish like you just wondering how safe is your rig and what's the cost of it and what's the weight of your rig
dzlt82 Hi Mate, The kayak is about as safe as they come with in built buoyancy so if its springs a leak it won't sink Its 21kg empty so very light for a 475cm kayak. Check them out here kayakspecialists.com.au they have prices on the site too.My Stealth is the Profisha 475 but check out the range and have a chat to Dennis or Tom to see what would suit. Cheers Rod
Michael Young Thanks for watching, yes I did it the install myself. easy to do with the help of a Dremel style cutting tool and a bit of silicon. What type of kayak will you be installing on? let me know and I will give you any tips I can if your keen. Cheers Rod
I catch them every now and then but don't often target them. When my micro skiff gets here i pumped to do some jigging and top water for them for sure.
That smile said it all, nice catch
Yep was a relief that day, fish was slow and i'd paddled out to the far reef hoping to get lucky.
