If you are near Charlotte any day other than Sunday, McCranie’s Pipe and Tobacco Store at Park Road Shopping Center is very nice. They also have a humidor room with lots of cigars. The family that runs the place are very friendly and knowledgeable.
@@CraftyPiping I think it’s worth it. I’ve only been there twice and it’s not a gigantic shop, but they have quite a bit in there and a good selection I think. Both times I have gone have been very enjoyable. They will also clean your pipes and ream them out for free. I don’t know if that’s typical of other shops but it just seems like they make you feel welcome. They have a small collection of estate pipes, sometimes unsmoked. But the ones that are used they thoroughly clean. I just got a brand new Dr. Graybow freehand that had never been smoked for $25!
I’m like you…if all we talked about were pipes and tobacco it’d get boring fast. I like to get to know folks, and that includes any subject they’re interested in. What dates will you be in NC? And did you say Mocksville? That’s not too far from The Pipe & Pint.
Good seeing you Andrew! Nice YABO 😊👍Stem looks great! 😎safe travels south!
