As an aussie guy youre raised to know its the womens prerogative who she likes,we know its a waste of time trying to convince a girl to like them and would rather just be ourselves and if one strays into our path we generally know then theyre interested,otherwise we just hang out with our mates. I think the movies put out a myth and is probably why women are disaappointed it's not the same in real life.Also those guys that chase women and try to woo come across as creepy

as a white guy I can confirm, I find African women very attractive, however in so far as the cheating goes, I had planned to marry a Sudanese woman who I absolutely adored, got involved with her culture, family was super cool, African social gatherings have the best BBQ's, we lived together for 5 years; until I found out she was seeing other men behind my back. It really hurt me and it still does today. I had to walk away from the relationship. I met with her older brother at his home to let her family know what I had found out. I still remember the look of disappointment he had in his eyes; I'll never forget it. I still have respect for her family because it wasn't their fault. The only thing i took when I left her was the engagement ring, since she broke her promise and my heart. I hope one day I can heal from this pain. It doesn't stop me from finding black women attractive but I guess I find myself with a wall that prevents me from being able to reach out. Still, I guess I got to experience Sudanese culture and so I am thankful for that at the very least. Maybe one day I'll open my heart again, to another African woman who will treat me better, for now, all I can do is heal.
I feel your pain. Being cheated on drained my confidence and self-esteem for a long time until I eventually built myself up during my alone time. It damaged my self-image and gave me serious trust issues. Even if she was unattractive and overweight, he obviously felt some type of attraction for her to commit infidelity. The crazy thing about it all is that I'm more attractive than them both! I'm not the type of woman to brag or boast but I’ve modeled for some time. He felt like I was "out of his league" which is a shitty excuse to cheat on someone. The pain from being cheated on by your fiancée is a pain that I hope no one has to experience. Lucky for me, God sent me a God-fearing Australian man, who swept me off my feet! God sent me my other half who helped me through my painful breakup. Crazy thing is, I met him online during the time that my ex cheated which was about 3 months before he told me he cheated. That was the work of GOD, I don't care who disagrees. We were only platonic friends who spoke about our heavenly creator ever so often. However, something deep in my gut told me to go to him for support after I was cheated on. Not long afterwards, we became best friends and now lovers! He wants to tie our bond with marriage soon. 😊 You WILL find love again, trust and believe that! By me being an African American woman, I've never imagined dating a white man. This really opened my eyes to a lot of things, like how love is love no matter the melanin or lack of. Some men may be curious and try and 'get with' a black woman for the experience, so try and be aware of those types and steer clear of them. This was very interesting. I am a white Australian woman so my perspective on white Australian men being "shy" is that it's probably a cultural difference. I would describe a guy I don't know who suddenly starts hitting on me as "aggressive" instead of "confident". Guys like that seem a bit untrustworthy to me. So Australian guys might seem more shy in comparison but that's just because being too forward isn't seen as a good thing here. It depends on the person and the context of course (guys are more likely to be more forward at bars and clubs etc). I think guys here appreciate women who are more forward and confident so they don't have to worry about being seen as aggressive. I think it's similar to how in some countries strangers can be very friendly to each other and that is seen as normal, but in Australia it's more normal to keep to yourself a bit (but we are still friendly).

As a white Australian man I found your video very entertaining and informative about your experience with Australian men and busting some of the stereotypes we have about African women. I would like to point out a few things from my perspective: Aussie men are not use to meeting Africans as so few live here; some men can feel intimidated by successful women as our history and culture is about men being the primary breadmakers and therefore the decision maker. This could conflict with a confident independent women (black or white) as some men in this country feel they have be in control of a relationship. The lack of confidence when approaching a lady is the fear of rejection. I've been to singles events where the men all stay together because they are afraid to approach a women. This is more difficult if a lady is with a group of other ladies which is often the case at these events, as the men feel being rejected by one means rejection by all the women in the group. If you ever decided to hold such an event Adlyke, you would have to be the host and introduce the men to the ladies. Having said all that some Australian men are quite happy to walk up to a lady and start chatting. But it would have to be under the right circumstances, like a singles party.

This is so interesting I'm a white Australian born here and if some random guy openingly hit on me on a train I'd find that very creepy and a massive red flag. If someone random in the street said i was attractive I think most girls here would view it as cat calling. Even just being approched for no reason and starting a conversation about the weather is strange.
To clarify if we had something clearly in common or were going to the same event it wouldnt be as strange. Or if a guy my age approched me, smiled and politely told me Im pretty that might be ok, it depends on the context. But if some guy confidently said hey beautiful whats your number? Id be calling security

I watched this video on a suggestion from my friend Louis to give my reaction to this topic and I have to say it was misinformed and one sided in basis! As a white or australian this Mzungu felt it didnt quite get the truth out in the appropriate manner! And as a target male of this topic I felt that it needed a response, if nothing more to equalize or balance the opinion! This is so interesting I'm a white Australian born here and if some random guy openingly hit on me on a train I'd find that very creepy and a massive red flag. If someone random in the street said i was attractive I think most girls here would view it as cat calling. Even just being approched for no reason and starting a conversation about the weather is strange.
To clarify if we had something clearly in common or were going to the same event it wouldnt be as strange. Or if a guy my age approched me, smiled and politely told me Im pretty that might be ok, it depends on the context. But if some guy confidently said hey beautiful whats your number? Id be calling security

I watched this video on a suggestion from my friend Louis to give my reaction to this topic and I have to say it was misinformed and one sided in basis! As a white or australian this Mzungu felt it didnt quite get the truth out in the appropriate manner! And as a target male of this topic I felt that it needed a response, if nothing more to equalize or balance the opinion!
