I would say this dish is cooked across pakistan and northern india, there are ofcourse many dishes that are predominently from pakistan such as Karahi, balti and payei etc nevertheless a very tasty dish
India me pehle fried onion paste krte hai..next onion paste ko oil me spiciese ke sath fry krte hai aur last me chiken and water dalke pakate hai..its very taste plz try it😊

People in the comment section are soo rude, you guys do realise that pakistan and india used to be one, as a punjabi I do find it offensive sometimes because some of the recipies they show are from punjab pakistan which used to be a part of punjab india, and as a punjabi I find it soo offensive as many of these recipies are our punjabi community recipes that we share. So stop calling these Indian recipes, these recipes are authentic and they do belong to certain parts of punjab or other provinces in both india and pakistan Its kinda like saying Bengali language is just Indian, whereas Bangladesh is a whole country that loves their language.
It's not Pakistani chicken, it's just a blend of spices.
We 1st fry the onion until it turn into brown colour. And then we cook masala. Then we add marinated chicken to it.
