So many people like to hate the acting here but I really like it, honestly. It’s not the best “acting” per say, but it doesn’t have to be. It wasn’t trying to be that. It looks very natural at points and I feel like it does a great job of capturing 2014/2015 culture and racing culture. As time goes on I appreciate it more for what it did. Like others have said these guys feel like your friends, and that’s kinda cool.

Idk about later games, but the guy from Underground 1 to Carbon is all the same guy. He's from Palmont City originally, before fleeing to Olympic City after a sabotaged race in Palmont City (the prologue cutscene in Carbon) then after U1 he moves to Bayview in U2, then to Rockport (one of the racers at the start of MW says "look what the Underground let loose, let's see how well you do in daylight"). Then finally after MW he flees back to Palmont again in Carbon, where he is reunited with the guys he fled from 3 years prior. Plus, Ryan Cooper from Pro Street was a former street racer, so there's a strong possibility that he's the same guy from all the previous games too, although it's never been confirmed.
@@Travis-guy-247 the popular theory is that Travis (not you, the character in the game) is the protagonist from at least Underground 1. The way he told you about Eddie is the proof.

Cheesy cut scenes, but I like them for some reason. Idk why. (Btw the transition from live action to game is soooo seamless. Never seen a game do that so well.)
Everyone whining like every NFS before with a story didn't have cheesy acting and bad slang. Have any of you played the Blackbox titles after HP 2? Also atleast Ghost in the real cutscenes had actual modified cars, in Blackbox ones they never even used the right cars sometimes to the characters and then in game it'd be confusing as fuck. Least the character cars in this are the same as in the cutscenes visually too.
Why are people hating on this, I'm like 5 minutes in and I absolutely love it, it would make a fantastic movie. It's not cringey at all like some people are saying, it's very realistic and I love how it feels like I'm actually there, wish it was real life haha, and why are people bagging out Monster? Monster is the best energy drink out there. I just have a ps2 because I love old games a shit ton more than modern gaming but if I had a PS3 or PS4 whatever this game is on I would definitely buy it just for these real life cutscenes. I think people are just hating on this to follow bandwagons, things like this deserve much more praise because they're amazing and I know some people agree with me because I've seen some of you awesome fans in the comments!

its called Koi No Radio.
All of the sudden i want a monster energy drink. No idea why
Man i miss the rivalry between the crews in this game. Everbody is nice to each other, even when youre beating the bosses they dont care.
IN MEMORIAM Ken Block. 1967-2023
_Honestly, when you compare this game's storyline to that of Carbon, you'll notice how this one is so much more bright hearted and casual compared to Carbon's dark and rather 'movie-like' story._
It's more like the most wanteds cheesy story
❆Mojunez13❆ _Sort of._
NFS 2015 Protagonist: Damn everyone's so nice here.
NFS MW/Carbon Protagonist: Must be nice...
Every time a Need for Speed game goes on 75% sale I check to make sure it's not this one.
this game had so much potential
The only good ghost Era NFS Games were 2015 and Heat.
48:17 They drinking monster like its beer
@Asian face Yeah definitely, the Monster instead of beer serves two purposes: product placement and to keep it PG.
Need for speed 2015 was a good game. No bad guys no Rouge cops. Just you and friends having a good time
