This is when I got my gem! The gem markets are so exciting! How fun is it to just sit there and all the different gem dealers fight to show you stones! And some of the most amazing stones at amazing prices, and that huge tanzanite at that price was a steal! And it was real! You could see the dichroic without a scope! Just turning the gem on the box it changed intensity of color! It was a gorgeous stone! And so many gorgeous stones but I wouldn't trust not having a way to test whether they were real or not,. They are tsavorite garnets were so gorgeous, it brought tears to my eyes! My word they were fabulous! Fun times in the market! And thank you so much for my stone and my panda wing! ❤
While we were reviewing this video we were kicking ourselves for not buying more. There was so much beautiful stuff. Glad you loved your gifts. We did feel like your gem lost some color despite being kept out of the light. Still pretty though. It was fun virtually bringing you to Asia. There's still so many more vids too. We filmed just enough to get us through this job.
This was amazing to see ! I love how they take the time to show and teach you about the gem you are inquiring about. I have some faceted gems from a yard sale some 20 years ago. A man who made them had passed away and his family was selling them pretty cheap. I need to take a look at them. Your video got me interested in digging them out of the safe and taking a look at them. Thanks for the great adventure😊
Really awesome gems and minerals!! I love Tanzanite. Citrine is sometimes heat treated amethyst. The myanmar agates are all heat treated also. Did you know sapphire and ruby are both corundum? Ruby is red variety. Sapphire is rarer than diamonds! They are both just as beautiful raw as are the faceted gems. The ruby and zoisite looks amazing in uv lighting. Im very sorry I haven't been commenting on all your videos. Im back on second shift. So, I dont have as much time for commenting on videos. I am definitely smashing the like button on all of them and watch them in segments. (Which also makes it harder to comment). There are many channels that I cant devote any time at all. You twos channel will always be among my favorites. I really do enjoy them, and I've been daydreaming more and more of becoming a nomad. Your videos are inspiring. I actually just traded in my car for a Subaru Outback because I've seen videos where people convert them. 😁 Hahahaha, ok, now I need to eat my dinner that's getting cold. Take care, you two! Bye now 👋🙂
Your channel is one of our favorites too. In fact we only have about 5 channels we watch regularly now and yours is one of them. Although, we're in the same boat you are and haven't been able to watch anything lately due to work schedules. We just have to prioritize getting videos out and catch as many comments as we can. Congrats on the Subaru. You absolutely can convert those things. We are so freaking excited for you. We have yet to regret leaving the rat race and living as nomads. Didn't realize sapphire and ruby were essentially the same mineral. That's awesome! Thanks for sharing your smarts with us.
Never sit down in the gem market,😂. I went on a trip with several friends that deal in buying, and selling gems. At one point the heat was getting to me so I sat down as they were dealing with sellers and before I knew it I was surrounded by people shoving gems in my face.
I have been dreaming about going to this place ever since you guys did the live , Im not sure which of the adventures I have loved the most , its a toss up between Thailand and Vietnam , both places I want to go to soooo bad because of you two but I know It would cost me a bundle to get home LOL Great video as always
We'd love to see you do a gem market like this. Both countries were amazing, but Vietnam was way more affordable. Thailand was still very cheap though. It would be a toss up for sure.
Didn't you two go to a gem market before in another video a while back. You brought some gems for one of your subscribers. NV has rubies, garnets which you can dig yourself around Las Vegas. There are black opals in wood around Denio.
There are still many beautiful rocks in every province in Thailand if you have enough time. You guys are such a lovely couple. Wish you have a great day and lots of happiness. Maybe if you come to Pathum Thani province, I can take you to see the waterfall and eat something delicious. Love from friends in Thailand.
@@TheAdventureCloset the Zambian Emeralds looked very promising. What was wrong with them, maybe glass filled? And how much would a real Zambian Emerald cost per carat?
Can I ask you guys why these minerals make you pay for them? I don't think I'm a collector of these minerals, so I'd like to know the perspective of those who love them like you. I'm Thai and I'm still surprised that polished minerals are so expensive. So I want to know at the end of the clip where you have many minerals in your hand, why do you want them and pay for them?
We have an interest in geology and how things in nature are formed, plus rocks and minerals are just so beautiful. Although we can't really explain it, but we're just drawn to them.

That was amazing, and frankly a little overwhelming. It looked like you were having a lot of fun….but can we talk about Charlie’s shirt-snazzy!
It's got feathers on it. 😎🪶 Thank you! Surprisingly it's nice and cool too.

A real selection of gemstones here. Its always cool to visit markets in other countries.
We had only seen gem markets like this on TV, so we were over the moon for this experience.
Great video, the big Sunstone at 41 minutes gave me goose bumps
Oh I know! That piece was spectacular.
Your bargaining skills are amazing.😂🎉
Haha! Thank you. 😃
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for watching!
This was great! If it were on a LIVE I would have had you get the Tiger Eye Dragon for me!
We wanted that one too! It was the coolest.

It can get a little wild there. We had a similar experience.

Liz, you are quite the dealer
Thanks! I usually don't like doing it, but that was fun.
Lovely welcome to Thailand .🇹🇭
Thank you! 🇹🇭❤️
The time when the traders will sell in the morning is because the buyers will see the true colors of the lights. At noon, the market will close.
We're glad we got to see it while it was open. What a great market!

We did a live video at this same location. So you are probably thinking of that one. Nevada is a treasure trove. We've been talking about coming back.
Wow what a place for a couple of rock heads . Looked like fun , im no expert but was always told bubbles in gems NOOOOOOOO , thanks
You'd think we'd know more than we do, but we only retain so much of what we learn. It would be nice to go back with a better eye.
I looked up Spinel gem. Its often confused as a ruby or sapphire. Its rarer than a diamond but its price point is much more affordable.
They're beautiful. We really wanted to find a cluster in marble host rock, but no luck.
What was wrong with the Zambian Emeralds? And how much would real zambian emerald cost per carat in thailand?

We would love that. I guess we will have to come back someday soon then. Thank you for being so kind.
You look like international gem dealers.
Well we are at least international gem buyers now. Haha!
Bubles inside is sign of fake
Hope we didn't get any fakes.

Yes bubble indication synthetic glass
