Then my team gets the puck “Ummmm that defenceman from that team we are playing.” Watch when the ref misses a penalty on the Avs as well. They’ll start talking about random shit, to distract from their on ice crimes. Maybe why Avs fans are SO incredibly dumb?

@@reybat4969 In so many words, they had stone on LTIR again, for the third straight year, had another few people on it too, then traded huge at teh deadline, and managed to find some way to load up before the playoffs, only to enter the playoffs being roughly 12 million over the cap (but since its LTIR it doesnt count)
however, what no one else tells you, is that there are other teams that have the same situation. the difference, is, its not some big name guy, and they arnt coming back for playoffs.

The difference is Vegas refuses to develop players; instead they just take other team's in trades. Which pisses alot of people off apparently.
That uno reverse was, to me , the most awesome moment of the playoffs so far.

On May 5th, 2024, NHL Team Dallas Stars take down the Vegas Golden Knights. That day was the record high setting amount of teams won in the NHL over one game, 31. Every single team except for Vegas was cheering for Dallas, and we now have ourselves a new world record.
Actually, it was just 30. Toronto was too busy bemoaning how badly Samsonov and Marner were to pay attention to this game.
You'd think that Vegas was at New England Patriots level of dynasty with how much hate they're reaping.

Now the interesting part will be how the Knights will be in cap compliance at the start of the season in October. Yes the still have Lehner so that's $5 million in LTIR. But they were over the Cap by $14.9 million. They also have a few UFA'S. Interesting times ahead for the Knights

Started the season asking “How can we cheat?” Cheated all year long. Cheated right before the trade deadline. Cheated ON the trade deadline. 4 guys who were “hurt” miraculously “got better “ day 1 of the playoffs. Refs had Dallas in the box 30 seconds into the 1st game, then again for NOTHING. Refs got them a 2 game to 0 lead. Massive backlash. Refs back off. Dallas takes over. Vegas is losing with 10 minutes to go in game 7. Barbashov dives. Doesn’t work. Dives again. Ref gets “fooled.” Vegas can’t score, and go down as the scummiest team in world history.
