See you there! 🏉
absolutely the prince of centers. the finest of his generation
someone you do need to review is the late but truely great Bill Mclaren, im sure a lot of fans will agree with me that he is the finest in his role the the world of rugby has ever, and will ever know. his art and craft is the equal of anything Lomu or Du Pont has ever or will ever do. A little clue, you have probably encountered him several times doing these reaction videos, but not been aware of it 😀😀😉
You might get more subscribers if you stop saying pretty for the plays and tries. These are hard rugged strong blokes so they would think you're taking the piss out of them if you ever said that to their faces😂
@@911LAMBER Shut it Lamber, im an ex openside, and as prity as can be. 🤣🤣🤣
@@jukeseyable if you like being called pretty then I bet your side wasn't the only thing open during your rugby days😂😂
If you love a sidstep Shane williams is a welsh legend on the wing.
Yes! I have a Shane Williams video coming out. He's highly requested. I appreciate you George
That pass to himself is bonkers! He was never the biggest/fastest/strongest, but he's one of the smartest players ever, and that's what makes him the best.
When he captained the Lions, the All Blacks injured him in the first test because they were so scared of him. Search BoD Spear Tackle, terrible incident 😢
You said it perfectly Gareth! That pass was something I've never seem before. Absolutely mind-blowing 🤯
I'll take a look at the spear tackle. Sucks that happened
@QSNgg and you'll never see it again I'd bet!
It more than sucks mate, they broke his collar bone and nearly killed him in one of the biggest games of his life and they didn't even get a warning!
@@garethfrancis1622the ABs were renowned for that tactic back in the day, probably still are.
@@patrickfarrell5092 not anymore. It is now a red card offense.
That intercept try vs Munster is probably my favourite try of all time. 09’ was the turning point for Leinster and to do that against Munster in Croke Park… sensational 👌
You're right John! That's such an incredible play
BOD is 100% the best centre ever to live. He's up there with Lomou and Shane Williams with all time greats.
I’d put George North above BOD personally but BOD was absolutely outstanding also
@@l8on17 George North is nowhere close to BOD at centre. North has been one of the best six nations era wingers, but not even in the conversation for top 5 outside centres in the six nations
@@eatmyshamrock that’s fine I’m happy to agree to disagree!
I still have to check out Shane Williams. I hear so much about him
@QSNgg sounds weird but check out the guiness ad they made of him
This guy was absolute magic to watch!
I agree Reaper! I'm loving seeing all these amazing athletes from past and present. So incredible to see the talent
BOD was quick but not lightning. He looked faster than he was as he read the game so well he was always half a step ahead of everyone else
exactly this he was never the fastest but he thought fast enough to make that irrelevant.
I love you assessment Michael. That makes a lot of sense. Just having that field awareness puts players like BOD way ahead
I love that! So cool to see how he created space and opportunities. On film he looked like he was flying
He was hardly slow ffs
@Sineadhawk I know. My first 3 words were "BOD was quick"
Love your videos, national 2 league rugby player myself and your insight and knowledge of the game in such a short period of time is amazing and appreciate the respect to our sport 🙏
Yes the appreciation is appreciated!
Massive love Jay! I appreciate and your kind words. It means a lot. I'm really loving rugby and the entire community.
What position did you play?
Massive love David! I appreciate you 🙌🏽
@@QSNgg I still play number 8 for west Hartlepool rugby club 👍 if your checking out retired legends like Brian o’driscol you should definitely watch retired England player Jason Robinson, he’s a player I think could of possibly made a crack at the nfl in the running back position with his attributes
@@JayCorbett-sh2kc Jason”Billy Whiz”Robinson , an international in both Rugby codes.
Your knowledge on the game is incredible. You have rugby history?
Reactions always a vibe my bro!! Worth the subscribe 🙌🏽
Massive love Tia! I appreciate you! No I don't have a history in rugby. I watched it a little bit growing up and played the games on Sega Genesis, but was more into American football.
I only started learning rugby union this year in January
Please watch when the six nations was played in Crough Park as the Irish rugby stadium was being done up. It was an amazing moment for Ireland 🇮🇪
I'll definitely check that out Michele!
Regulation 12
..
(b) Fingerless Mitts
Coverage of the fingers and thumbs be permitted to the outer joint but no further. The mitt zone of coverage should not continue beyond the wrist.
The body of the mitt should be of a stretch type material with the grip material being made of a soft rubber/synthetic compound not exceeding a depth of 1mm.
No part of a mitt should contain buttons or potentially dangerous items.
They've long gone out of fashion though. It eventually became recognised mitts were more of a hindrance
Bitch mitts aren’t worn any more, but I believe still legal, as long as the last joint isn’t covered
Thanks so much for this I appreciate you! That makes more sense now. I was wondering, I only see them used in old clips
The the hand signs in the 2000 match against France - Brian had a friend known as the Big O. Before the match the Big O said that if he scored a try (of course he famously scored 3 tries in that match) he should give a shout out to him. Apparently the Big O was watching the match in a pub in Clontarf and when he saw it said "that's his shout out to the Big O". None of his companions believed him. But in his autobiography Brian confirmed that that was indeed what it meant!
I heard he did it for free pints nej
That's awesome! Thanks for letting me know about that O. I figured it meant something. I appreciate you John 🙌🏽
Best 13 that ever played the game ... also a real nice guy off the pitch
I love that! He seems like an incredible man
In BOD we trust! Sexton helped take Ireland to the next level but BOD is the GOAT of Irish rugby for me. Growing up in the 90s, Ireland were pretty shit and no one really followed rugby too closely but when this guy burst onto the scene it all changed
I'm going to check out Sexton. I've heard so much about him. Ireland looked incredible this 6 Nations. I'm excited to see their test play upcoming this summer
O’Driscoll is the GOAT.
BOD is awesome!!
The guy who threw the lovey pass at 3:20 is Shane Horgan. You might know his sister from “Catastrophe” or “Game Night”. She’s an actress and writer.
Thanks for letting me know that David! I know the movie Game Night, and will look up his sister. I love the fun fact. Thank you 🙌🏽
@@QSNgg She was in “Bad Sisters” with Bono’s daughter on Apple+ recently. And she’s been a guest on Seth Meyers etc.
Despite her brother’s gigantism looking mug (he’s known as Shaggy because he has the Scooby Doo character’s chin), she’s actually gorgeous. The thinking man’s crumpet 😏
Such a gentleman to this day there was no real money in the game then they played for pride.
I love that! So much pride and respect for an amazing country. I love to see it
Only Brian O'Driscoll could make a pass to himself and make a line break out of it.
Such an incredible athlete!
Yes, ULS is Ulster. My team. Bit of a shambles at the moment, but we've had some great players. If you're looking for highlights of Ireland players from Ulster, I'd look for Andrew Trimble, Tommy Bowe, Stuart McCloskey, Iain Henderson, Rory Best, Jacob Stockdale, John Cooney. One of the greatest players of the professional era was David Humphreys, but he played before UA-cam really got going, so there's no comprehensive highlights video of him. I keep meaning to try and make one.
Thanks for letting me know about all these athletes Patrick! I'm going to check them all out. I'll also look for David Humphreys as well and see if I can find anything on him in terms of highlights
I appreciate you🙌🏽
Yeah, it's sad to see very few Ulster lads getting a call you to the Ireland team. Pity 2018 Stockdale wasn't around.
In my opinion yes. the best centre ever... Kinda!? I remember this game someone posted on twitter a few years ago pick your dream team backs 9 to 15 but you're only allowed one player from each country. Was a fun game. BOD was my Irish player. I did pair him with Jeremy Guscott though as my English player as ofc you need a centre pair.
Lmao maa nonu or conrad smith were the greatest centers ever
I love that! That twitter game sounds like it was fun. I can imagine it created a lot of good interactions and banter
Thank you so much what a video
Thanks so much Isaac! I appreciate you 🙌🏽
BO'D is God!
The celebration is part of a charity thing. For every try he scored in that match he donated money to the charity
That's awesome! Thanks for letting me know that was for charity. I love that!
Great vid
Much love Deadly! I apprecaiate you boss!
Certainly the Irish greatset center of all time as for the greatest ever in rugby? Well not quite, names like Mannetjies Roux, Danie Gerber, Frank Bunce, Phillipe Sella are in my opinion ahead of BOD in terms of greatness.
I love that Ceva! I appreciate the recommendation on Mannetjies Roux, Danie Gerber, Frank Bunce, Phillipe Sella.
I've hear a lot about Danie and will check all the rest out too
I would add Conrad Smith to that list
@@brucefale6132 Agreed.
Nah, O'Driscoll had it all. Never saw Gerber but Conrad Smith was not operating on the same level at all.
BOD dragged a more or less average Irish team through the mud to achieve things for years. Most of the players you mentioned played with great teams. Most of the highlights of the players you mentioned pale in comparison.
Odd how Gerber advocates have seemingly no knowledge of Mike Gibson. Anyway, O'Driscoll is the greatest centre there's been
I'll check out Gerber and Mike Gibson
The absolute GOAT of rugby union! I would love for you to react to my Jonny Sexton rugby video :) He has just retired and is an Irish legend! I tried to tell a story throughout the video :) Hope you’re well
Lmao the goat? What was his winning percentage against other top tier teams such as bokkes and all blacks again? Or how many world cups does he have? 😂😂😂
I'll definitely check out Jonny Sexton and your video boss! Keep up the incredible work on your channel as well. I love your thumbnails. The one with Antoine Dupont made me laugh! That's was great
I hope you're doing well too boss 🙌🏽
@@187-SaltyCrackers Rugby is a team sport. No one man can win. Yes, he played for an Ireland team that didn't compete at that level. Had he played for the trinations teams with those players around him, one could only imagine how many more incredible highlight he would have. Certainly the most gifted center ever in my opinion
@@QSNgg Thank you, Legend!!! Hahaha thumbnails are so hard to make 😂
BOD was the boss of his generation. My favourite player of all time is phillipe sella but if i had to pick a team for a must win game BOD would give me serious pause for thought. Love your reaction to aurguably the greatest centre of all time QSN.
I'll check out Phillipe Sella. I appreciate you Monty!
@@QSNgg Sella was a french legend. Unfortunately you'll probably struggle to find much decent footage of him as he did his thing back in the 80's & 90's. You'd definitely approve of him though i'm sure.
BOD was great at the breakdown too, videos didn't show that element of him.
That's what I've been hearing. I'll check out more BOD content as well
Loving the videos. Look at Jason Robinson, a legend in both league and union. You wont be disappointed.
Thanks so much Joel I appreciate you! I'll check out Jason Robinson for sure. I've heard a lot about him
The gloves clip was an older clip. They aren’t used anymore
Thanks for letting me know that. I see it a lot on older footage, so that makes sense
Check out Fiji’s O’Driscoll, Rupeni Caucaunibuca
I will for sure!
Check out Danie Gerber from South Africa who many believe is the best centre ever! Unfortunately, just before the professional era. Pure class!!
I'll 100% check out Danie Gerber. Thanks for that Doug!
BOD is GOD
I love that! I agree with you Keith 🙌🏽
I'm sure with all the suggestions you have so many videos and players lined up. But many of them are pretty similar in terms of style and skill. So if you want a change of pace there are some other options. One that you absolutely need to see if you are getting into rugby is Joost van der Westhuizen. He was one of the best scrum halves to ever play. He took South Africa to the WC win in '95. Probably his career defining moment is when he put himself on the line to tackle Jonah Lomu who had broken the defensive line at full speed. Making that tackle saved a try that would have won new Zealand the World Cup. Joost is up there for one of the best sports leaders of all time.
Thanks for the recommendation for Joost van der Westhuizen. He's been highly requested so I'm going to make sure to check out all of his highlights. I appreciate you Jason!
BOD was a very good Northern Hemisphere centre. But the best centre -ever-was Danie Gerber.
Gerber was a great, powerful running centre but he didn’t have the all round skillset O Driscoll had.
Danie Gerbie is on my list to watch next for sure
Check out Danie Gerber.
I will for sure! Danie is highly requested. I appreciate you Jannie!
@@QSNgg When you do I will tell you about the fight between the Army Generals over where Danie would be called up to do his National Service which was conspriction in order to get him to play for him.
The tomato is a fruit part was a joke he was dared by a friend on the Irish team to say that. He was a great when he lost his pace he then turned into a playmaker centre and an extra back row player who could get a steal on the ground.
haha thanks for letting me know about the tomato joke Ciara. BOD is so incredible to watch
@@QSNgg he was what every kid in Ireland wanted to be like he drove standards won trophies and it why Ireland and leinster has one of the best teams around 👍🏻 he was the most complete player attack defence positioning and fearless.
Inside Centre!
100%
Most of your early presidents came from Ulster or their parents, grandparents did .
Thanks for letting me know that
He is the best centre in rugby history, check out Bryan Hanana
I have a Bryan Habana video coming out very soon. I appreciate you Johann
Please check out Gary Ringrose
I'll definitely check out Gary Ringrose. I appreciate you!
Sergio Parisse would be a good reaction. For a no.8, he was a very skilled player. Not your average no.8, had a lot to his game.
I'll 100% check out Sergio Parisse ! Thanks so much!
I am quite surprise no one ever reacted to the Wizard of Oz, David Campese or Campo
Good heads up on David Campese! I'll check him out Azlan. I appreciate you and the recommendation 🙌🏽
Campo leaked as many tries as he scored
The tomato clip was a bet.
🤣 That makes a lot of sense
You should react to Jonathan Davies, he was an awesome 13 as well.
I will for sure DJ! Thanks for the recommendation. I hope you've been doing well 🙌🏽 It's always great to hear from you

2. Jerry "The Garbage man" Collins
3. Brian "The Chiropractor" Lima
4. Sebastian "The Caveman" Chabal.

jonny wilkinson, one of the best tackling fly halves of all time, worth watching.

@@QSNgg jonny was a fearless tackler, a great kicker and playmaker,
Jonney sexton is the 2nd best Irish scrum half
Who's better? I don't think O'Gara is.
Who do you have as the best Rebecca?
Great player.
I agree 100% Chris!
@@QSNgg As an England fan, he was quite a nuisance!
Ardie Savea would be great to react to.He’s maybe the best forward in the world right now
I'll 100% react to Ardie Savea! He's highly recommended
Kiwis love to downplay him because they think an all time 15 would just be 15 All Blacks. The fact is that BOD is the all time top try scorer for a centre. That was while playing for an Irish team that on average was floating around 8th to 5th, maybe 4th at his generations peak in the world. Had he played for the All Blacks then his try count would likely be doubled as he would be playing with far better players in a team that scored double the tries Ireland would.
That makes a lot of sense. I see the world of rugby love to have banter with one another especially when it comes to Northern Hemisphere vs Southern Hemisphere
100%. He dragged average teams through the mud.
check out Ireland Is The 2nd Best Rugby Team In The World!! by die hard rugby
I will for sure Unj! Thanks for the recommendation
Hi bro,
You’re allowed to wear a full set of gloves but you can wear. Fingerless mitts.
Thanks for letting me know that Leighton! I was wondering. It seems that's a thing of the past now
Hello QSN
Hey Oreneile!! How are you doing? It's always great to hear from you
Th oval shape of the ball DooooH.
Thanks
You can wear gloves people don't as it can affect grip on the ball
Thanks for letting me know that Thomas! I appreciate you boss
@QSNgg I only know this since I used to do it for a bit, but then after I took them off, I felt it was better to haveing them off
Please react to both parts of "Wear the Rose".
I'll check out Wear the Rose for sure Chris. Thanks for the recommendation 🙌🏽
In BOD we trust
I love that!!
Just one "best centre": Danie Gerber. Period.
Danie Gerber is on my next to watch list for sure
Oh yes, an Irish player was the best in every position😂
😂
Gerber was the best centre ever
I'm going to check out Gerber for sure
@QSNgg Sadly, there is not much footage of him. A Rhodesian who played for the Speingboks during the 70s and 80s, so there were sporting sanctions against SA.
Best center Ireland/world have had.... Met him many times... top man... met him first when we were in our teens. Slick finisher, hard tackler
You're spot on 100%! I've heard he's an incredible man
Lmao i dont where you get your information from but he is not the best center ever as that goes to maa nonu or conrad smith who were both all blacks!!!! There achievements are on another level from brian
They had better players around them. I don’t know where you got your information but being an All Black doesn’t automatically make you better than everyone else.
Much respect. I'll check out the All Blacks you've mentioned
Tana Umaga made O'Driscoll look like a schoolboy every time they met. O'Drscoll was a decent player, but because he stood out in the NH the myth far exceeded the man.
I’ll admit ,you whoever you are ,will probably know more about rugby than me. I tend to only watch internationals and semi-finals and finals. But I still need to say I think Brian o Driscoll is the greatest sport star to ever come out of Ireland .massive claim we’ve had Roy Keane , Katie Taylor , George best , Paul McGrath , Henry shefflin, jj Delaney but o Driscoll is the one for me where it was like watching a magician who could knock ya out with a tackle. Ya knew you watching greatness. I’d advise watching some of Driscoll highlights ya won’t regret it
@@alanphelan578 I've aleady seen most of O'Driscolls test games, live or replayed - I could name a dozen better centres.
He never did alot against the top teams
@@itistrue101 Bitter, much? Bet you are not fit to lace his drinks.
@@MsFionaxxx you seem a little triggered there piss ant... facts don't care about your feelings
Utter nonsense. Umaga played in far better teams than BOD ever did. Ireland were average for years with O Driscoll being the exception. Umaga and the rest were so afraid of him they had to spear tackle him. He has the most tried in the 6N’s and anyone scoring 3 tries in a single match away to France is quality.
You’re definitely using the wrong verbs
Thanks for the feedback
Nonu is better so is Conrad Smith and Jaque Fourie and so many others... BOD is only the best Northern hemisphere centre
So many others? I suppose they’re all from the southern hemisphere because that seems to be where you’re going? Conrad Smith was nowhere near O’Driscoll. He just happened to play for a better team.
I'll take a look at Nonu, Conrad, and Jaque to see what they're all about
This is a mans game no pretty no gorgeous? Man Game. Not woman gorgeous pretty. That's what I've been hearing. I saw the law on it as well too. Definitely way different than our gloves we use
