How to connect a CW key with your iPhone or iPad to the Morse-it App

- I'll demo the Morse-it app with the iPad today and show you how to connect the Vband adapter by Ham Radio Solutions. Then I'll go over the app's settings to make it all work with a key. I used a German-made TP-II iambic paddle by Bamatech and a Bencher RJ-1 straight key in the demo.

Got it and it’s useless on my IPad. Produces the letters but no sound. Checked the website and it said it may not work with an iPad. Would have been nice to know before buying it.
Downloaded Morse-It. Obtained Ham Radio Solutions “keyboard interface.” Attached Vibroplex dual lever paddle. When tapping out characters using the paddle, Morse-It produces two dits for one touch of the paddle and two dahs for one touch. Slowed down the speed to 15 wpm but the effect persists. Result: for example, impossible to type a letter “a” because the first touch of the paddle instantly produces an “I.” Oh well, investment was only $0.99 plus the cost of the Ham Radio Solutions keyboard interface.
To me, you’re acceptable, straight key demonstration did not have enough Farnsworth separation

Is there an app that works like as the morse it app for android? Not seeing morse it in the play store.
Did not work for me. I bought all the stuff in the video, changed all the settings as per the video, and connected my bencher BY-1. I have double checked and triple checked. Everything is correct but still does not work.

So funny story, I go to ham radio solutions and you cant use the actayual product unless you're on google chrome. Great video but I am skeptical on making it work on my apple product. I know I saw you do it, but nothing is worse than computers and radio, THEY DO NOT WORK TOGETHER total source of frustration. Cool video, never gonna do it

Nice you introduce the app. The app didn’t need a subscription until recently. I use it with an ipac2 interface. It works very well. I’m not an ham but it’s two years I’ve start learned CW with this app. It’s good app, I would just hesitate to recommend it had you need a subscription.
I have an ipad pro with USBC. I will have to get a different adapter.
Is it possible to train without anything but a computer, with the keyboard or the mouse. I'm serious. Want to learn, and have absolutely nothing than this.

Funny. I just happen to have the Spark, HST and the same Bamakey. The Bamakey is wonderful for my backyard portable....KE0FXN
