Using your rattle gun on the axle nut makes easy work of it. You don't even have to remove the locking dent if you've got a full battery. It will just spin off. It's also easier to do this with the wheel still on and you won't even have to worry about the hub spinning. Also, if you loosen the bolts on the upper control arm, it will fall into the steering knuckle and there's not even any need to pull it down with a ratchet strap or by hand. If you remove the sway bar, you'll get more movement that makes it easier to pop the axles out. It's easier to do this while the vehicle is flat on the ground. When removing the axles, you can hold the axle at the back and keep that pushed hard up into the CV so that it doesn't separate. Alternatively, you could tie it so it won't pop out. If you drop the diff oil out, it's a great time to put new seals in, but it is worth getting something descent to press them back in, especially on the driver's side because it's recessed. It took me quite a few attempts as it kept popping out and now I've got to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't fail. I'll be removing the front diff to put an ARB air-locker in soon, so I'll address it then, but it's good to know if you have to go down that path.

Funny you mentioned the 35mm. Everyone says 36mm, but I tried mine at the store and found that the 35mm fit perfectly. Having a 36mm is good for aftermarket CVSs though. A lot of them will have 36mm nuts.

Hi Chris, I have the New Generation Ford Ranger but the XL model, which means it has some few things that are not so luxurious with other upper models. I find that the ride is good but on the bumps I can feels it as I think it is not highly refined. I just wanna find out if I can install this kit, will it have an improvement on the ride and bumps? I hope you give your advise. Nice work!

Why the heck do you amateurs undo the axle and tie rod? this is absolutely needless. You only undo strut top and bottom the swaybar link and top control arm bolt. That's it
