@@JohnSmith20420 Jim Leonhard was my top choice, but Tom Allen may be the next best option. I didn't think he was particularly realistic and didn't fully appreciate what he did as DC at USF and IU. Probably safer than the two young guys I liked -- Santucci (GT) and Aaron Henry (Illinois).
As an outsider, Leonhard seems the most likely person to be the next DC if the rumors are true that his future goals are in CFB and not the NFL. Plus there wouldn't be any lateral feel to it as far as role or money is concerned. All the others have more reasons to not want the job or to not take it, especially Golden. Of course, that doesn't mean the easiest path is the most likely either. I wonder if 5 tournament teams is the optimum for the ACC this year. Fewer might be possible.
@@ryan_kantor Right. 5 is the upper end. SMU may be the one left out. Don't they have some of their toughest ACC games left like Clemson and Louisville and maybe UNC?
I'm seeing Tom Allen a lot.
Would like to see a ranking published on the website/forum keeping track of top DC candidates!! Getting harder to remember all the names
Then how could I get you coming back to the channel?
@@ryan_kantor Come on now Ryan, id still tune in! But yes I hear where you’re coming from 😭

Well done Ryan. Thank you.
Appreciate the feedback!
I'm sure you know that Leonhard may be high on the list to replace Denver DC Vance Joseph IF he leaves for a head coaching job.
We got Riley
Expecting a similarly bold hire for the defense!

Go Tigers. 2025 here we come.
Dabo needs hurry up. Recuits are listening n waiting
We already seen that the DC isn't that big of a factor since Alexander came with no DC and no other recruit has backed out with Wes leaving.
