Hello Mira. I’m glad to see your Vlog you made when you were in Cotonou last year. I appreciate it. And I notice that you were there with Virtue Grace who I discover as a good nigerian girl youtuber. But none of you two don’t speak a little beat french so it was difficult to communicate. You should notice that it was possible to speak yorouba to make you understand by some people. So next time try to do that. Keep it up. Have a nice day. NB: I am from Bénin but I don’t live there. Bye!
What's the cost of living like in Benin? I'm meeting my partner ther cause I can't make Nigeria with the chaos. Is it about the same as Nigeria. Your help will be much appreciated
Next time try to use a translator app on your phone and translate it to their language and let them hear it or read it from your phone for easier communication.
@Robert Britton i'm beninese but i know how to speak english and lemme tell you that english is really easy for us to learn unless you don't give a shit

Next time use google translate to try and communicate. I find it a bit rude to go to another country and not try to at least make an effort to communicate in their local language ,have a friend that speaks the language or better still use google translator. If for example a chinese man goes to a local shop in nigeria and tries to get something by just speaking Chinese it will be futile and annoying to the seller.
@@MirasWorld I don’t think you understood what I said. A Chinese man coming to nigeria will most definitely have a basic understanding of English or walk with someone that can communicate or better still use google translator to communicate with people in a foreign country instead of just yelling chinese. It goes both ways a Nigerian in china will not be yelling English there cos most of them only speak Chinese. He either learns what he wants to get in their native language, have a friend that can communicate or use google translate to communicate what they really want.
Very late comment but still: Imo, when going to a foreign speaking country try to find someone to accompany you so they can translate and explain what's going on. This will make a richer experience. I think that b/c you are black they think you should know French.
That's how they are, it's like we not giving them money, so unprofessional. My mother is from Benin, was born and lived in Paris and when ever i go to Cotonou it choked me. Thank god they are not always like this

Not it’s not about the same ... things are more on the high side over there I guess
Next time try to use a translator app on your phone and translate it to their language and let them hear it or read it from your phone for easier communication.

Hi beauty, pls i need local snacks vendor in cotonou
That was a crazy day 🤣🤣
She could have used any utensils to pick up that food for the customer. She could do better with preventing cross contamination.
Yeah
I agree, those beninese salads are always drenched in TOO MUCH mayonnaise. Hard to get used to it
I'm from Benin republic and don't eat mayonnaise. Don't talk about what you don't know.
I'm Ghanaian and I live in Benin now... Before you step into town practice your French or use a translator because English frustrates them
Helo, is it safe for living ? And is there any language school in cotonou?please your reply is very important. Thanks.
@@clientelpa9657 Yes there are. I'm at centre beninois de langue etrangere(cebelae) to study French. It is very safe to live there.
Thanks for your reply 😘😘💋
@Robert Britton I don't think so... There is Spanish that's quite easier and has less rules
