It's similar because Somalis used to trade in spices from gunjrat/ Malabar coast and with Malaysia, Indonesia, Srilanka and sell them to the mideteranian countries like Greece and Rome
I recently visited that restaurant and I have to say, the food and service were top-notch! I ordered a platter for two, which included Haniid, chicken steak, salad, and sabayad. I can't lie, it was the best meal ever! Everything was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were just amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal! I can’t forget 😢❤ love u my somali people 🤗
Balouch/Arab here and in Nairobi used to stay in a Somali restaurant and it had the best food in Kenya. The food reminded me a lot when I was in Madinah. Guys somali food is one of the best there is, you got to try it
I think you are confused with who you are. Baloch's can only be from Afghanistan, Iran or Pakistan. Unless your dad is Baloch and he married an Arab. Historically, Balochistan is known to be independent. While there were periods Balochistan came under the Afghan control, such as during the Ahmad Shah Durrani (1747-1758) rule, but Balochistan largely maintained its sovereignty. It has never been fully integrated into Afghanistan, Iran or Pakistan. And it will never be. Even though large part of Balochistan is under the Pakistani rule, which s against the peoples will. We hope that they will get their freedom.
@afghans0ldier Balochistan is in a predicament, they want to hold on to their culture so they will always refuse to be fully integrated into Afghanistan. As for Pakistan baloch people has a disdain for them. Baloch today is in the middle of two empires the Pakis and the Afganis usually when this happens one of them absorb the small ethnical nation but they are too stubborn to be absorbed. Me personally I wouldn't mind baloch to be part of Afghanis since my grandad came from there
That tea blows my mind! Now I know how that's done 😍 Honestly!!! And the food and the flavours are sensational. The vibesss. I need to come back soon . Loved everything!
Nice food which is similar to Yemeni food. Yemen and Somalia share similar culture. The food, the men and women clothing. Ma'awaz for men and Drea dress for women. Plus certain words have similar meaning to Somali language like Baboor. Love Chai Adeni

Good food, I’ve been here. The tea is pretty much Asian masala tea, bangalis make it exactly like this with more water. Just a variation of Asian masala tea 😉lovely place and community and the sisters definitely work hard here
This restaurant and the dishes look banging! It’s on my list to try this place out! I’m Bangladeshi but grew up in London all my life. It’s about time we have a top end Somali cuisine restaurant. Thanks for making this video!
So happy to see this on your channel. I love this restaurant and closest to Kenyan Swahili coastal food. Only one Kenyan restaurant in London. Very correct about guests. In Kenyan homes we too have food for guests. Pilau, roast meat and chapati are a must if you have guests together with whatever tribal speciality. Masala chai, sambusas, bhajia are served as a snack sort of a dessert. I am one of those women who make Kenyan guest food. Thank you for appreciating our efforts.

12:05 "Our lamb is vegan." lol I think he was talking about the rice being cooked in vegetable broth but it made me smile☺️ I'm excited to visit this restaurant, food looks delish.
😂😂 vegan in Somali means meat covered in vegetables. If you go to the countryside and state your vegetarian, the folks would ask you to follow the livestock and eat the trees and grass with them. It's a very meat based society
I noticed a lot of the culinary food in the UK lamb is used as the choice of hilib whereas in Canada we do the goat meat, I always found that interesting.
