I love your method of using one brush to agitate the dirt, a cloth to wipe it out and a second brush to dry and clean the crevaces. I've been doing the same for years. Great work, Oscar!
in your opinion, how long do you think the micro film of clear coat last on leather seats ? when do you think it's time or appropriate to add conditioner ?
It never hurts to add conditioner. So from day one, I would start adding conditioner. As far as when it'll clear coat on the leather lasting, that's all dependent on how much abuse it gets, how old it is, and how frequently you clean it
So now that you don't use your steamer on leather seats what do you find yourself using it mostly for? I agree, the polisher with brush attachment is plenty of power for these seats and steam probably isn't necessary unless you are trying to get rid of a bacteria-filled soccer-mom vehicle! It's important like you said to be careful not to burn through the leather coating with this method on older vehicles. I noticed some discoloration on an older interior I did after steaming AND using an interior brush attachment on the polisher.
For specifically cleaning leather seats, I will primarily use the polisher with carpet attachment or the upholstery brush. If there's a lot of gunk on the dashboard, door panels, or headliner, I'll bring out the steamer. I would say be careful on ANY type of leather. Just because it's a modern day leather doesn't mean you won't eat up the leather coating quick. Especially if you're aggressively brushing a very specific area. You think you maybe pulling off dirt, when in reality, could be the actual pigment of the leather. Not good!
Question! How do you see the success of mobile detailing. what is its future? fleets of cars with trained crews? an enterprise? how do u see future of a successful mobile detailing? how will it run? the management and minitoring od people... i just want to hear ur views bout it... thank you..
Great question, but it's entirely dependent on the end goal of the business owner. In my personal case, a successful detailing business would be pulling in mid-to-high 6-figures in one location (shop-based), with a team of 10 or less.
Hi. Do you have a video suggesting where to start on your detailing business? I am deciding to start a mobile detailing business. But there are so many products and it is kind of overwhelming. haha. But any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I know what you mean. It can get overwhelming. There's no kit out there that I recommend. It's best to buy what you need. Here's a list of 90% of the tools and products I use on a daily basis: detailgroove.co/resources/
What kind of cigarette burns? Like someone put out the cigarette by pressing the it onto the headliner? Which brush? All the tools/products are mentioned in the link provided
david munera he's using an all purpose cleaner diluted...any decent APC will work ...so called leather cleaners are for the most part gimmicky because of the factory coating on leather car seats...your more less cleaning plastic in a sense ( don't get to aggressive with cleaners or techniques ) the method He's doing takes some experience and should only be done by such person, ..hope this helps a little
Technically, I'm not cleaning the leather. I'm cleaning the clear coat on the leather. Just how the paint has a clear coat, your leather has a clear coat. That's how they last a lot longer. So yes, you can most definitely put conditioner once you're done (I did after I was done), but you are putting it on top of the clear coat of the leather, not the leather itself
Excellent video thanks. I have tan coloured seat belts which have got very dirty after a year or so, is there any special technique in cleaning those which I can try out?
I do not have an ad made for that. Honestly, just whip something up in 30 minutes and put it out there. Wait a week, if you don't get any calls, change it up and give it another go
Hey Oscar, I've missed your last few uploads due to me being busy. I'm catching up now, This was a great video. I also got a new rig today, I did have a 2011 Ford Fiesta van and I just exchanged it for a 2012 Renault Kangoo.... I'm not sure if you get either of these vans in the US.
What cleaner did you use? I used super clean on leather and where I sprayed it looked like the cleaner stained the seat. Why? Was t he cleaner to strong? Or what? And can I fix it?

Everything is included in the bonus material provided: www.autogeek.net/grulsoupbr1.html

I'm using it on my GG6", so I'm assuming yes
Can you do a video on how to get cigarette burns out?? If you've done them before. And also where did you get the upholstery brush?
What kind of cigarette burns? Like someone put out the cigarette by pressing the it onto the headliner? Which brush? All the tools/products are mentioned in the link provided
Yea like if someone puts it out on the seat or headliner
Yikes! There's not much you can do there. They burned the fibers. That's permanent damage.
what kind of chemical are you using? where did you get smaller brushers?
david munera he's using an all purpose cleaner diluted...any decent APC will work ...so called leather cleaners are for the most part gimmicky because of the factory coating on leather car seats...your more less cleaning plastic in a sense ( don't get to aggressive with cleaners or techniques ) the method He's doing takes some experience and should only be done by such person, ..hope this helps a little

www.autogeek.net/porter-cable-brushes.html (gray)

What’s a good leather cleaner for blue jean stains?
What spray bottles do you use?
Uhh... I need to research that myself
the leather do not need any conditioner or moisturizer after using the apc?

Excellent video thanks. I have tan coloured seat belts which have got very dirty after a year or so, is there any special technique in cleaning those which I can try out?
Carpet and upholstery cleaner on seatbelt scrub with brush and then wipe down with Microfibre towel. They can even be extracted.
what should i say to offer service on interior of a car on craiglist?
I would focus on the benefits. Think about what the customer wants to hear. What's going on their life, how can you make their car/life better
can you give me a example of a ad you would post or send me a email at theodorex13@gmail.com
I do not have an ad made for that. Honestly, just whip something up in 30 minutes and put it out there. Wait a week, if you don't get any calls, change it up and give it another go

Nice job! What if you have ventilated and perforated leather seats with tiny holes??
NHseacoast I know u can’t see it clearly, but those seats def have perforated bottom and back. So I guess do what he did
Hey Oscar, I've missed your last few uploads due to me being busy.

Super Clean diluted 10:1
@@DetailGroove Up to where on the spray bottle? Before you add water..
what should i do if i (my wife) get gum on my seat ??
You can buy a adhesive/gum remover for carpet. Find something like this locally: www.sun-beltusa.com/gel-break-cs05pt.html
Can you clean suede leather the same way?
Ehh, I would not clean suede with the polisher. I'd also work in my concentrated areas. It also depends on how bad the suede is and color it is
Would it be easier to clean the seats by removing them from the vehicle?
yes but that's a hassle and will end up wasting more time than it saves
Can you use super clean on leather?
Super arată..
