I read an interview that Matthew's mother gave about how hard it was when he was first adopted..Apparently he had a lot of behavioral problems to the point that he wouldn't go to sleep in his crib that she would have to hold him down or he would scream himself to sleep while leaning in the corner of his crib..She must have been exhausted standing there making sure he didn't hurt himself..She then described taking Patrick to try out for a commercial and she had no one to watch Matt that day so she took him with her..She said that he was known for his tantrums and that she dreaded the battle while waiting for Patrick to get through with the casting try-out ..The lady that came to get Patrick noticed Matthew and she came back and asked him if he would like to try out also and he shockingly said yes and his mom said she sat there waiting for her cue to get her screaming child off the set but he never acted out and when he came back he was happy and said that wanted to act like his brother..So that was the start of his career and if they had a bad day he knew that meant he could not go to a casting so things changed..She said he was like another kid when he discovered acting and his life took a drastic change for the better..I believe she said that the adoption agency told them that Matt was born with a hole in his heart but they did not inform them that he had behavior issues probably because they were afraid that they would not adopt him if they told them about his mental problems..However, his parent's did an amazing job with both of them.I read this in a magazine and her description of Matt's issues just proved how much she loved him and was not going to give up on him no matter how long it took to heal whatever it was that caused him to act out like he did when he was a baby and preschooler..
If it is right, he's living in New York and is doing voice-over work like you said. Some recent things he did was a Verizon commercial and a commercial about a medicin against a cold. Don't know any personal info, sorry. Thanks for checking out the video, have a good day!

Patrick and Matthew's adoptive parents raised them well. In every interview or special appearance they are so humble and kind.
