I've been an F1 fan for years, but I'm new to Rally and it's SO AWESOME!
Been watching WRC since 2003 this is the hardest race sport in the world. Its the driver against the terrain, their vehicles, their opponents and themselves.

Speaking of Rally Sweden.
In last year's Rally, in my opinion, THE moment of the WRC year 2022 took place.
It was evening. On the road snow and ice. A faint right turn. On both sides many trees. Kalle Rovanpera came tearing up there with a speed of 180(!!!!) kilometers!!!! Breathtaking to see that!!!!

Where do studs on snow compare to gravel or wet tarmac, in terms of grip?
Kalle said that sometimes in good conditions these ice tires have more grip than gravel tires
Typically, driving with studs gains more grip than a gravel tire on a gravel road. At least most rally drivers say so.
higher grip, depending of course if the stud can reach the hard stuff or not. If stud is too short it is really slippery.
