Jethro Tull was a secret kinda band that us kids only listened to a private parties growing up in NJ. Lots of people didn't know about them and it was our closest kept secret. I remember this well. I just made a cat/squirrel video and didn't make the connection till now. Wait till you see the new custom-made, 1,500 psi power washing wand that's being delivered! It resembles a seriously combat ready, scoped equipped AR-15 replica to wash cars. Lol. Thanks for the jam!
@@boardwalklivinac.nj.7900 I'm sure the last (possibly) time I saw BP was at the Marquee on the night, a Friday I guess, that there was a huge snow blizzard 🙂 My friend and I had gone to London to see some other band, but because the snow was so heavy we couldn't get a taxi to take us into Regents Park, that gig was at a girls college in the Park. Anyways, that's how Derick and I ended up at the Marquee instead. Incidentally BP are playing at the Marquee (not the Wardour St one, that went in 88 I think), Charing Cross Rd end of July.
Hi again AC. I'm a few years older than you. I was one of the few Americans who bought Ahead Rings Out at the time. I must have heard something on WMMR. But did Pig ever tour the US?
Loved that album you mentioned.Vocals and guitar playing are very well done. Bluesy and rocking all the way through. And the sax is great . So much trouble always was a fav tull track , very cool thanks AC. Going to listen to the first two albums today at work. Peace

1500 psi. You're only trying to take the first dirt off, not the paint. Lol 😆 😆
@@boardwalklivinac.nj.7900, this is one stop shopping. Who loves you, baby? (read using a Telly Savalas voice). Take care, brother.
You are right. He was the first guitarist of the group.
He had a jazz-like style that I liked, but Ian Anderson wanted a different sound.
Hi from the UK 💞 I love this sound !! 💜❤💜 Different from , "Ring out those Christmas Bells. " Also love your Lemmy picture.💖 Great tunes .❤🌹❤
Thank you so much! All the paintings were done by Hamell on Trial.
Thanks my old friend!
Some fine picking there!
Yeah Mick is overlooked for sure. Love those Blodwyn Pig records as well.
@franknzappa364 I'd have bet money it was Rene for the Unibrow.
@franknzappa364da Vinci and Grax both lay claim to the Monocycle 😅😅
