They’re quite similar in a lot of ways but different. Neo has more mounting styles and I much prefer the sandwich mount on the Neo. Whereas I like the gasket beans on the tb8. And Neo has a lower price point too which makes the Neo better in value. So it’s totally up to what you’re looking for at the end of the day
@@key_rist thank you for the response. Actually I'm using a sandwich-mount neo80 right now, and I'm totally in love with its "hard" typing feel. Also, I'm not a fan of "springy" typing feel, and eventhough I've tried gasket mount (both gasket-bean and gasket-jacket mount), I always find myself coming back to top mount/sandwich mount on my neo80. However, I'm gonna getting another tkl, and I'm considering the TB8 and the cycle 8. The former seems to be better sounding and the latter seems to be better candy to my eyes. Or, should I just get another neo80?
@@namvu1956 if you already have the Neo and you prefer stiffer typing feel, then I don’t think you need the TB8. The top mount on the tb8 is not bad but I still prefer the sandwich mount typing sound on the neo80! I’m not sure about the cycle8 since I’ve never tried it!
Looks like we both built our TB8's with Xinhais! Haha
They're awesome~
Great video!
No way hahaha when I saw the blue I knew the xinhais would be perfect😂
i buy cycle7 because of the catch ball system and now all keyboard has it haha very nice
Dont worry, the C7 is probably still the champion.
How is the TB8 compared to the neo80?
