Yeah the kayaks with the railing are harder to get into. I take it that a pedal drive might not be good for your knees either? Maybe something like this where you can sit on it sideways then swivel your legs around. www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/glen-forrest/kayaks-paddle/hobie-quest-13-fishing-kayak-2018/1310759287
Nice long video Terry, cool to see more of that area and what’s around. Definitely looks like pedal/motor territory, I’d have to take camping gear to rest and make it all the way back if I was paddling all that way 😂 congrats Vas on the win, nice pick up!
Yeah video is a bit too long I think. You can still hang around the channels and the sides without a motor but yeah probably a bit too far to paddle to St Kilda in a normal kayak.
Wow what a great feed you ended up with! Never tried trolling for snook but might have to after watching your success 😅. Congrats to Vas, what a great pack to win!
great vid Terry , seems i should have gone with you than to ponga : ) was a bit quite there ,Surge did ok though , ,the snook are late, usually gone by now ,great to see, when i get back we will have to do the St Kilda ramp fish ,show u round the area :)
Sounds good mate. Yeah I know Surge and his Cousin are there multiple times a week. I like to mix it up a bit and do prefer the salt water fishing over the fresh but it is hard to beat the serenity of Myponga,
Great video mate, good to see the snook have started down that way. I am vas and wondering how to claim the prize. Thanks heaps mate, really appreciate it.
Hi Kevin, its worth a trip down there even to explore the ship wrecks, mangroves and marina. Tonight for dinner I had filleted and crumbed Snook fillets with salt/pepper, squeeze of lemon and some cupie mayo.
Garden Island is a top spot; great video too. I need to get on the water but my knees make getting on/off the yak a problem :(

Year give it a go, didnt even need to go that fast, just fast enough to get some action from the lure.

Thanks mate, I think the video was a bit too long this time.
Nice catch and I'm going to have to get out there and give it a go in the yak love trolling
Yeah, get out there and have a go. I love trolling as well. I get bored really quickly just sitting in one spot soaking bait. Thanks for watching.
Great video. I've never been to that area but the fishing looked good. Do you smoke the snook or cook them another way Terry?

What a nice trip❤ Could you see the signals on your screen when you encounter the snooks?😮
No I was just trolling and using the sounder for depth and direction.
Well done Vas!

Will you ever go back to garden island?
@merc9999 Yes for sure, when I buy another kayak. Nice spot to fish and explore the mangroves.
@@kayakfishingins.a4327 oh no worries, why did u end up selling the kayaks?
@merc9999 Was just enjoying the boat more, taking out family and friends. I will get another one eventually.
