What was his justification for charging THAT much just to change the filters even if he was charging you for the parts as well??? Bet you never went back to him for anything else . Sheesh.
@@eddy45686 Yes mate took me about 30mins altogether. Drained the oil, replaced air/pollen filter then went for a brew while the oil drained. Replaced filter and topped up. Cost me about £30 all together (3 filters and 5litres of oil)
My air filter seems open from behind. Will the filter being open put a engine light on for code P2196 Oxygen a/f sensor signal stuck rich bank 1 sensor 1?
John Maier this can not be the cabin air filter. The cabin air filter is behind the glove box inside the car. His car is likely a slightly different model, sounds like he does not live in the US so it may be a european version.

My Mrs drive a 59 plate Yaris (UK) - just been quoted £280 for air filter, oil filter and pollen filter.
@@andywilliams8563 daylight robbery. Filters cost £12 each. Install 5 mins max £10 labour.
