This video is perfect timing. I was diagnosed with CMT1a and verified the diagnosis with genetic testing. Additionally, I have bilateral carpal & cubital tunnel and just had the described traditional surgery for both. I had my left hand/elbow done in October '22 & had my dominant right side done last week and still have the bandage on. I'm currently in occupational therapy with a truly amazing therapist who has worked extensively with me. It may be premature, but it seems like there's significant improvement as Dr. Chompoopong outlined. It's terrific CMTA facilitates this monthly zoom! It'd be great to be a part of this.
