Storm Gloria: Sea Foam and Giant Waves Hit Spanish Coastline

- A deadly winter storm is lashing the North-East of Spain and has left 200,000 people without electricity.
Storm Gloria arrived with strong winds, rain, and heavy snowfall in some parts of the region, and it's now on its fifth day.
Huge waves are battering the Catalan coastline, causing major damage to beaches around Barcelona, Valencia and the Balearic Islands. The beach town of Tossa de Mar has even been submerged in sea foam, and rice paddies in the Ebro river delta, Spain’s longest river, have been devastated.
The storm has also reached the Pyrénées-Orientales region in the South of France.

Because they don’t. There’s only so much you can do, raise walls, raise houses, build levees and so on. Those are all just temporary bandages. People need to start moving away from the coasts and island nations. Climate change is only going to aggravate storms, increase sea levels and much more. This is just the beginning.

We need to go back to the book. The bible. Some may critic and say there is no God and miss the point completely. Teaching us to believe in something greater than ourselves humbles the soul and opens our heart. Yea big companies may seem to be at fault for caring more about money than our planet but its the consumers that keep buying products. If we come together we can stop the madness may seem impossible but thats why we were blessed with intelligence.
Or maybe even turn our faces back to God
