IF you don't know where to start, you have to create conditions for a purpose to manifest itself. Away from all distractions and toxicity.
Yeah, this was me last year. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. So I eliminated major distractions: disabled my Instagram, put boundaries on toxic people, and went into a period of solitude, where I allowed myself to self-reflect and sit with my feelings, uncomfortable as they may be. I still don’t know completely what the rest of my life will look like, but it’s okay, because at least I know I have a direction to anchor me.

I find it difficult to get away from distractions and toxicity because I live with my parents. We have a difficult relationship. Moving out is not an option right now..

I think it's a personal responsibility for every human to discover their life and reinvent themselves regardless of their upbringing. This is the only way we can take charge of the direction of our life and not be a victim of our upbringing and being stuck with it for life.
If only more people would understand this simple insight, they would experience a lot more empowerment and a lot less misery.

So I lost direction last year, I was attending college going for an engineering degree. I dropped out and started working 40 hours. Then I started taking late night welding classes. And it's been great, I'm ten times happier. Sometimes you just do what you feel like.

Be honest with yourself about yourself. Best way of never falling into contradiction.
Don't fear being alone, having no friends, not fitting. There are a lot of dead people who would love becoming your friends. Dostoievsky, Goethe, Balzac, Dante, Cervantes, Plato, Nietzsche, Schoppenhauer and many others. Very cool people

This phrase holds so much meaning for me personally. I lost my father several years ago to cancer. He was a great, loving, caring person. I wish I had expressed more of my appreciation towards him and told him how many great qualities he had as a person and how it inspired me to be a better human.
After his passing, I've made a commitment to cherish the people in my life, and communicate my gratitude and appreciation clearly without holding back.
Giving credit is so important. It can transform the other persons life, and make them see themselves in a different light.
Genuine appreciation can make people have more self-love and self-esteem. It has the power to heal emotional wounds.
Don't hold back on saying good things to your loved ones guys. We don't hold back while complaining, why do so when its really time to express.
My life goal has been to become the man I needed when I was in middle school. I am that man today
You have all the answers within you, listen to yourself, to your heart. You don't need to follow the crowd, follow your own path and do what feels right in your heart. Life is a self-discovery journey, we came here to savour this wonderful experience of life...
Perspective. There’s an old saying...The best way to keep your mind clear is to get your hands dirty’. I believe this application can help all of us. Particularly, volunteering to help in places and in humanitarian issues where there are severely injured or ill people facing life and death struggles every damn day. Certainly will challenge you and tell you what kind of metal we/you are all made of.
One of the latest principles I try to live by is: be intentional in your relationships. If you go out with somebody, tell them why, don't just suppose they know. It's not romantic but your relationship can really benefit (friendly or romantic) from it, or at least it will save some hurt. Even if they don't want to go out with you again after this, they´ll respect you and you´ll respect yourself.
Your HEART knows, keep on trusting in your heart and intuitive direction. Don’t try to figure everything out. Just follow your heart and TRUST that everything will come together. Love you all my friends❤️🔥

A lot of people don't know what they want out of life, Society tells us what can and what can not be done so they never let themselves imagine what would they do if they could do anything. Having a purpose gives my life meaning, it doesn't make my day to day easier but it does makes the big questions easier.

What a great video Lana! I like the point you made regarding inheriting beliefs from "past" people that also inherited those beliefs from someone else before them. I think the easiest way to let go of those beliefs is to live your life in your "own" direction, regardless of what anyone else thinks about it. I have done that and have been able to let go of a lot of "stupid" beliefs and ideas I learned growing up👍

I value my space, an area of no disruptions or place that is mine. Boundary area that just belongs to me where I place what is valuable to me in that space and it is not used or touched. Sadly I never fully been able to attain that, which brings me great frustration. Being kind as appose to nice is something I value and aspire to always do... sometimes it’s kind to point out to someone that if that don’t change something in an area of there life they will get hurt, but sharing this you are being kind and saving them a fall or pain. Lastly for today I value natural beauty and not fake beauty or beautification and things that are attained through a process of growth as appose to instantly. Most important is to live by your values....Many of us just speak about having a particular value or principle but never actually implement it..Identifying what you truly value is very important
I can relate to this video so much because I'm very principled. One of the quintessential principles that I will never let go of is gossip, especially when it comes to considering someone a friend. There is no room for gossip. Another principle I'm very stuck with is that I will never do or say something would hurt/dismay me first to others. In other words, if I really want something good to happen to me, I would definitely do it to others.

The best direction everyone should have is taking time to figure out what we truly want in life. One who walks in the footsteps of another leaves no footprints. But without those footprints to follow, what is going to bring us to a fork road which allow us to reach our destination? Stay humble, be experimental but be decisive when it is time to make a decision.

My favorite place to be is what others called a hostile environment, to escape away from how I felt. It felt calming and I found solace there and I didn't want it to be my direction in life because I was afraid it would destroy that for me.
