As a past heavy drug addict, this song makes me tear up thinking about how I used to destroy myself wit dangerous and sometimes unknown substances. It got so bad that I was homeless with no friends, no job, no family, no food.. and then I met this girl (now my partner in crime💙) and she helped me get off meth, codeine, opioid pills and ecstasy. Now I hear this song and feel all of that hit me at once
I'm trying to get through my own addictions. I heard this song in my sophomore year and 7 years after the context finally hits me differently. I'm proud of you 🤘🏽

My cousin lost his battle with drugs. 42 years old, bodybuilder. Swole AF. Tried to detox on his own, ended up pulling the trigger on the shotgun he was holding to his chin.
It's not easy. Don't get started. You never know who you're gonna end up hurting in the future. Props to all of you who recovered or are on the road to recovery. Not everyone has your strength.

Brian "head" welch was one of my idols growing up , and korn was all i listened to , when he left the band i was pretty crushed to see the band fall apart . it's great to hear him making new music , especially since most hard rock/metal music is seen as devil worship and things to that effect , its cool to hear a band that rocks and talks about god in a good sense . I'm not personally very religious but hearing music that sounds like this and is christian based , maybe metalheads can b religious

(just came across this video after a long time) when this came out. i would shoot up dope to this song. (thats not a good thing but maybe it was a gift in a way) this year im 7 years off of heroin. it's cool i can listen to this, and revisit how far i have came in life. the storrriieeesssss i could tell lolol. i'm glad im still alive to hear the new music too. you always been one of my inspirations. i been listenin to you and korn since the debut cause my brother was a metal head (i was like 6 lol) even when you went through the hardcore god phase, i was an alcoholic just going no where at that time, when you put out Save me From Myself. i was sittin alone drunk and stoned and it kind of gave me some form of faith to follow. i got a cross and homie was like "you found god now or something?!" and i smiled and looked at em and said "something like that, something like that!" im just a very spiritual person, i take time to look at all the religions and i study and see what pieces fit together, i wanna know the truth so bad. i can't read one book and just say "ok i'll drink the punch" but i can thank you to opening me back up to that side. cause i was totally closed up and dying spiritually. even when this song came out, i had the faith but i was soooo addicted. heroin is one hell of a chemical. but i beat it. but i lost so many of my friends :( but in the end, sadly i'm sick and in constant pain erryday. but every step that hurts i mentally punch and i keep going. so thank you. thank you for this band. thank you for coming back to korn. and i doubt it'll ever happen, but maybe i'll actually get to meet you lol. i'll do the whole waynes world (IM NOT WOORRTTTHYYY) thing lol. it'll be great lol.

@888 head is in the band. Before covid hit i saw them at target center MN. He left for a brief time in 2005? That was 15 years ago lmao he hasn't left in YEARS
They actually had two really good Albums without him See you on the Other Side was great, and The Path of totality was the most underrated albums and is very good.

And now that he's back, they've put out some of their best music, serenity of suffering is a fuckn amazing album
