This is great, I have a helpful suggestion- being there are screwdriver audio, could you add tapping sounds for roll pins, and a red arrow to highlight that this is important that it is driven Out this direction Only? Granted- its all there if you pay attention, but that would make it near bulletproof! IMHO. THANK YOU! Very cool.
Do not remove the pin that hold’s the firingpin in place as shown. It’s conical and it will get stuck. Tap it out from the same side as the ejectionport.
what can you advise in case the pin is stuck already? My gun is 10+ years old, and it seems, nobody ever got this pin out. Do I need just hammer it a bit harder? I also wonder if it is required to push something before hammering this pin?
there are quite a few differences the major one being that the SIG in the Video is Single Action Only and most P226 military/tactical models are Double action. some major differences are Hammer, trigger bar, decocker mech, grips , trigger, trigger weight adjuster, slide internals , internal extractor, recoil spring assembly. I have also heard but not confirmed that a regular P226 slide will not fit on an x-model. have a look at my channel I have a review of a few different types
This really helped me after several P226 x5 supermatch parts dropped to my workbench during disassembly 😀
Thank you so much!! I took my grips off and pieces started coming of, I was able to put it back together with your video.

I love P226, the best pistol for my hands ;)

Thank you master ...
How much difference is there between the standard one and the X Five?
