Thanks guys. I've watched several channels at Shot Show with this gun and, I have to say, that was one of the more involved descriptions of the gun. I haven't tried that ammo yet but I did get a chance to test the new Ruger at my LGS. It seemed to shoot softer than my M&P with similar weight ammo. Thanks for the information and the video guys.

I was able to get my hands on both the 9 and .45acp 2 weeks ago a d was rather disappointed with both. While they are very ergonomic the trigger was pretty bad and resets like a DAO pocket pistol having to be released all the way out to the start. The beaver tail on this pist is ridiculously over sized. At the highest point where the pistol will rest in the web of your hand and over your thumb it is about 2-2.5x's larger and thicker then a Glock or M&P making it super uncomfortable to hold let alone shoot. My last complaint was the finish on both pistols it seemed super thin and blotchy with scuff marks on the rail as well as on the slide. The clerk behind the counter pointed it out on the 9mm then I noticed it on the .45. I can only really wonder what or if Ruger was thinking when they designed the trigger and beaver tail for this pistol. If I had to sum it up in one sentence "everything feels rushed on this pistol" would be it. At its price point it competes directly with M&P, Glock, FNH, and Walther and it looses big time to them all. I wanted to like this and wanted to take the .45 home but couldn't get past the beaver tail digging into my hand from doing nothing more then holding it.

One more comment, Adding in the cost of the $30-$40.00 proprietary magazines which I think are finished nicer then the pistol it makes it even harder for me to like this pistol. Kruger had a choice to use existing SR9 mags which would really appeal to those who owned an SR9 and they once again went with an a new over priced redesigned magazine giving the buyer less for their money.
