Yeah we kill these at our work ranch because we work before sunrise and these catch us off guard under the plants we cut

That thing is quite large! I wish their numbers weren't dropping so rapidly. They should be put on the endangered species list immediately! It should be against the law to them and kill them. Only under certain circumstances should they be killed. If they're in a yard of a residence with small children who could be unaware they're there, and possible be bitten cuz if one bites a small child, their life is in serious jeopardy. I live in north central Alabama, and I'm sure where I live used to be in it's geographic range. This is in Orange Park, outside of Jacksonville.
