    With regards to the premiums... If you resell on the private market, you'll be passing the premium to the buyer anyway, so you won't 'lose' that premium necessarily.

      Who cares, premiums are premiums, not something that should affect you bottomline, ore your budget, if i does, you have alot bigger problems, and shouldent stack precious metals 👀

    Collect these 1 oz gold coins along the years & before you know it you have a stake of them . And a smaller outlay is so convenient to go and collect these. cute coins over the months & years ! Not mentioning the cost of averaging .

    I think one gram bars are good cos it’s what u can afford and as well and if anything happens to the money market like all cash notes or coins are worthless in a shit scenario gram bars will be good to trade with and easy to use as trade more that the bigger bars like the 1oz and up

  • @jimlewis5477
    @jimlewis5477 8 місяців тому +2

    I think eventually they would be good for barter if the economy completely disintegrated. I have a couple ounces total in 1 gram gold bars just for that purpose but I spent way more than if I would have bought one ounce gold coins. So its not an investment for me. Its more of insurance for me. You have to look at it as insurance. Think about it, if your currency went away tomorrow and you had to use gold to buy things, would you give a one ounce gold coin for a buggy of groceries or a tank of gas. No you would not. You would want to give a much smaller amount. That is what the 1 gram gold bars are good for.

    It's always better to have some gold than no gold, I say yes to 1g bars, I'd rather have 5g or higher but not everyone has the luxury of being able to wait and save, some have to get what they can when they can, and anyone buying 1g gold bars is better off than anyone oblivious to gold and saving only in fiat or not saving at all

    Hi mate, Another great video as always. Couple of questions
    1. Do you have some of form of storage facility for these 1kg bars i.e Plastic wallet or do you just use a general card wallet to store them, mainly for stopping them getting dirty or blemishes on packaging?
    2. Do you know how much the Gold shops are likely to pay if you were to trade them I.e 10% less than spot price? Is there an average trade price?
    3. Perhaps it would be a good video, if you could do a secret film, of checking how much some of these shops offer you for these bars and then do an analysis of how much of a reduction from spot price?
    Thanks

    • @FutureInvestmentsBullion

      Hi Abdul! Thankyou!
      So those 1KG bars i believe are poured so they’re very durable and don’t need packaging.
      Dealers tend to offer just below spot price or spot.

      Your paying a premium for the brand name, granted you should get more if you sell to the right place or person for a better brand but never plan on it, best advice buy like your gonna have to sell a spot and you'll be much better off unless your a collector, then price is less relevant.

    That's a pretty good price on a gram to be fair but the maths just don't add up on bars especially smaller versions, granted the tavex ones will do there job much sooner but they'll never hold the clout of the royal mint and unless they sell well they drop the product line which could make them somewhat sort after but at the end of it all CGT will still turn most people off meaning sadly they probably won't last as a product when you can buy a tiny coin without having to fear the tax man

      @@FutureInvestmentsBullion I'm on about capital gains tax though which stands at 20-28% for gold bullion then add your premium (royal mint pretty much 25%) and yeah that'll never make sense to me because you've essentially got a 50% loss after you're out at the other end with playing this tactically buy trading up before hitting the tax threshold
