Wish I could PM you on advice but will say it here, I don't have much money but when I can, I buy some physical silver and (mainly gold). Not much a year but an ounce is an ounce. Only started during the pandemic. I keep saving for gold. I don't do stocks or nothing else. Would it be wise to buy more silver or keep into gold for my family's future?

Gold YES, Silver NO. I live in the UK where legal tender gold coins, Sovereigns and Britannias, are free of all taxes. Silver bullion deals come with a 20% VAT liability. Sums it up.

One thing you didn't mentioned is that buying silver from Royal mint you pay VAT because it's brand new however if you buy secondary coin it's way cheaper. You did mentioned gold because on that premiums isn't that bad, but with silver the premiums are enormous.

50g bars are pretty nice with those britanias. Gold bars are not tax exempt then yah don't buy it. For me I buy pamp gold bars starting 50g and higher, and I also buy 1oz gold maples.

Interesting video as always. A family member tried to purchase directly from The royal mint via card payment such as Visa or Mastercard however they had issues and he was not able to buy from The Royal Mint yet . I will let him know about Atkinsons maybe this time he will be lucky.

The RM have all their priorities wrong. They put out too much variety at poor quality both in design and minting. Series have inconsistent intervals and some get discontinued! They need to focus on quality and consistency first if they want to rebuild their reputation. Milk spots need to be resigned to history for a start!

Hey don’t expect you to reply since it’s been a year since you posted this but I’m under 18 and always been interested in investing and making money, I was told to invest in gold by someone I work with a year ago but I was stupid and wanted to spend my money on anything but my future, and 1g back then was around £73 for a PAMP 1G now it’s £80,20 would you say it’s a good time for me to start consistently purchasing 1g gold bars and possibly 1 ounce silver aswell ?
