Spiralen is Drammen's most famous tourist attraction. We drive through a spiral tunnel up through the mountain and to Spiraltoppen with its beautiful view over Drammensdalen.
Spiralen was built in the period 1953-1961 and was opened by King Olav for Drammen's city anniversary in 1961. The tunnel has undergone an upgrade and officially opened again in January 2021.
