As a formerly common guest to Norway I haven't even heard about this tunnel, but I have visited the majority of the Stave Churches, during the years. And I sadly failed to walk to Pulpit Rock when I passed it, many years ago! But I may invite you to drive through the new Fehmarn Belt tunnel, when it has been finished in some years? 18 kilometer below the water.

Wow! As one who spent many years driving in Northern New England, I am all the more comfortable driving here, enjoying the scenery, and even the wind farms. Lots of traffic, but no traffic jams.
