using 3 fingers instead of 4 helps with that also. I speak from experience, I also switched and find the colors are more consistent that way. Obviously I'm not insinuating I'm at her level haha.
Dude yes. You should see her live. Only then do you realize how much of a fucking legend she is. It’s not just her obscene technical prowess. It’s also the musicality she has with it all.
This micro lesson gave me a real boost! I've done like this on my steel-stringed guitar because I could not fit the ring finger too from my really big hand. And always thought I cheated. But now I can continue with a good conscience. :D
Would like to see you perform a very slowed down closeup of both hands and fingerings for playing the first measures of "Sevilla" by Albeniz. And discuss "attack" and "tambour. Thanks.
I also use this technique PMI cycle. Some odd reason when I add my ring-finger my playing sounds disjointed and very uneven in volume. The ring-finger sounding weaker when I add it. I feel much more comfortable using PMI tremolo and I have tried practicing and practicing, it feels phantom when I try and inbalanced it becomes. But as it is limiting, I've tried to cooperate adding PMIP. The last P, plucking the tremolo'd string/"singing string". It's indeed daunting using the thumb twice in a cycle. But it compensates the "missing" ringfinger pluck on the PRMI cycle.
I have dabbled in this technique and found that the two finger method produces more consistent tremolo. I have stuck with the traditional method though, due to it being easier to play and slightly faster tempo possibility.
Im just starting this and am embarrassingly ignorant with it. I'm not trying to rush it but I don't even have a knowledge of pieces to listen to. Nevertheless it's impressive and you're amazing
Seen her playing live a few times. She's a wonderful artist, albeit the Idea of a pimi tremolo is somewhat counter to what other great guitarists do. I'm sticking with the pima technic.
my guitar instructor always told me "what works for you" if it isn't outrageously contrary. that's why if you buy a book of songs and tried to follow someone else's fingerings it doesn't always work you have to work it out for yourself
Certainly one of the top ten in the world, currently. Think about it. She uses only P-M-I-M without A. Therefore her two fingers (I, M) are doing the work of three (I, M, A) in the same tempo. Let that sink in.
Makes it look so easy. Such consistent tone and accent its incredible.
Amazing

I try pimi rather than pmim.lov your playing
Interesting. I’d never heard of P M I M combination. Gotta try that.
I tried to do this, but it's so damn hard, especially when you already have developed P--A-M-I muscle memory.
@@chriscox7631 P AMI is harder, my fingers keep touching other strings
Maravilloso como toca Uds la guitarra
Oh yes , very easy ,Shes a machine!
I will try that technique.

That’s crazy hard hahaha I wouldn’t even conceive of doing tremolo like that.
I love playing the guitar solely for the idea that Ana Vidovic plays the guitar. She's something else.
Ana shares beauty in whatever she does.
