Neither Scarlatti nor Bach wrote music for the guitar. So why does this sound so good, as if Scarlatti and Bach wrote directly for Ana Vidovic´s guitar? The answer is that Ana is so extremely good to preserve the special values connected to this music. She allows her guitar to be in the role of a harpsicord, and my God! she succeeds totally in this changeover. I just love her playing.
Indeed, all of her movements while playing (fingers of both hands, but also arms and head) are executed as if programmed for maximum efficiency. As soon as they are not needed anymore on a specific location, they already start moving graciously to the next position. (Please forgive the technical view of this.) This probably goes a long way towards explaining why her playing seems almost effortlessly
What a blessing it is to have this incredible person give so much of her life to this art form and give it to us to enjoy. Thank you for the countless hours and days you have given to create this artwork.
Technically not just flawless but dazzling, musically not just pleasing but meaningful. More than a performance of music, Ana creates a musical presence.
what do you know about "flaw" anyway? and what do you about pleasing "anyway"? Your complimants are not justifice. make your own flawless and pleasing music and make see it. cheers!
@@ahmetcelik1911 Thank you for your comment. Ana Vidovic inspired me to start playing the classical guitar. That is how I got to learn about "flaw"! I will heed your wise words as I keep practising this beautiful music.
I'm a violinist, and the partita in E major is my favorite (along with Bach's Chaconne) - both played my father, and after years I try to learn it again. When I was 15-18, I preferred playing the guitar when I adored the Beatles. Then I left out playing the guitar for 40-50 years and since the age of 59 I have been rather playing the organ. I recently bought a new guitar and watch the best guitarists in the world. Ana Vidovic is my favorite and gives me a huge boost even at the age of almost 75 years. Thank you Ana for helping me to enjoy this beautiful instrument again. If I want to have a real aesthetic experience, my choice is Ana Vidovic in every way.Thank you very much.

Beautiful. I love everything about Ms. Vidovic’s tone and technique. What is it? The high tension strings with a piano tone? The way she gets a warm sound by placing her right hand over the F hole? The brilliant trills? The amazing reach of her pinky of the fret board? The flashing speed with perfect weight on each note? All of it! I love all of it! And more. My favorite guitarist.

I'm quite amazed at her right hand technique (left hand also). I am a long-time student of the classical guitar and adopted the Andres Segovia right hand position (yes I'm that old!) with the fingers of the right hand held close together. long hours of study
years of hard work from such a young age
Her eyes never leave the fretboard,
she doesn't need to look, her eyes are closed
It's just that her form is perfect,
one might even say flawless.
Este medio nos permite estar cerca en Su compañía escuchando estas magistrales interpretaciones apreciada Ana Vidovic. Mi Eterno agradecimiento joven Maestra
Ana makes the guitar seems so easy to play, her fingers dance so amazing in the strings !!!
Fantástico Ana..!!
That was - hands down - the* besT interpretation of Capricho Arabe I’ve ever heard!
Inspired me to tears near the end of it , thank you very much :)
Concentrated beauty in every passage -
-Last time I heard Ana play this was on the guitar recital album but it was much faster and I thought..”how technical, however I wish she would slow it down!”Just Perfect*
👏👏🙏

Ana, you are a wonderful player! I have followed you for over a year now, and continue to be inspired by your incredible talent. Thank you for the gift of music which you share with us!
If Bach would listen that he would like this interpretation... His compositions fits very well to classical guitar. Ana Vidovic, I would like to write a good text in english... You are the best!
Hvala ljepa Ana! (Muchas gracias). I'm looking forward to the event. I saw you live here in Miami twice in the last six years and I'm a big fan. Thanks for your warm message and your art. I will never forget your brilliant recommendations to the master class students. You gave them the knowledge of the music from your heart (I was in the public) at the Miami Conservatory in Coconut Grove. Your musicianship and artistic sense are exceptional.
What a beautiful gift from God !!!!!!!! Heavenly Angelic Talent !!!!!!!!!!
