Neither Scarlatti nor Bach wrote music for the guitar. So why does this sound so good, as if Scarlatti and Bach wrote directly for Ana Vidovic´s guitar? The answer is that Ana is so extremely good to preserve the special values connected to this music. She allows her guitar to be in the role of a harpsicord, and my God! she succeeds totally in this changeover. I just love her playing.
Indeed, all of her movements while playing (fingers of both hands, but also arms and head) are executed as if programmed for maximum efficiency. As soon as they are not needed anymore on a specific location, they already start moving graciously to the next position. (Please forgive the technical view of this.) This probably goes a long way towards explaining why her playing seems almost effortlessly
I’m 67 years old and just started playing. It’s sad that I probably won’t live long enough to play guitar anywhere close to Ana. But I can still watch her videos and dream.
I didn’t want to pickup my guitar after seeing her play. And then I told myself that even though I won’t ever play like Ana, I can work hard to be the best I can be.

First track: Bach, some 350y ago, current-gen classical guitar + recording tech and also playback tech for pretty much every human in the world.... composition is still mind-blowing. I always feel like it's our loss if we live and die within our lifespans never getting the chance to experience this art. I know I'm privileged I get to have the means to experience this and write this comment. Please, humanity, continue to improve so that more and more people get a chance to experience these performances and live them. I'm completely surrendered by this performance, it's like it grips my soul and my very existence ever since I had awareness of myself. Excellent job Ana Vidovic for the artistry.
Her form is flawless, to watch her play is like being serenaded by one of the Muses, entranced by eloquence and enthralled by beauty. Notice the focus and concentration, ever so deep in the zone, one with the instrument, the strength in her fingers, the precision of her left hand, the perfect meter and power of her right hand's attack balanced so gently with dynamic control second to none. The tone of her forearms denotes countless hours of Playing dedicated and intense practice, long hours of study years of hard work from such a young age Her eyes never leave the fretboard, she doesn't need to look, her eyes are closed It's just that her form is perfect, one might even say flawless.

@@strings-n-keys Hm, Julia, the last days. Heavy words. Here in Sweden we are getting a little bit to normal circumstances, after not shutting down everything, schools, fabrics and so on. My hero is Anders Tegnell. But is is, as you say, good to prepare psychologically and spiritually. My spiritually preparing for eventually meeting of last days will be Ana Vidovic playing Bach. There we have a solid block of trust. Best wishes!
@@staffanolofsson8201 thanks for your comment. By spiritually preparing oneself I mean repenting and accepting Christ as our only true Saviour. For many people the end of the world will be when they die. The people who died today - for them today was the end of the world. They are meeting their Maker. This whole life is about making the right choice: either the straight and narrow path to life or the highway to hell. Make the right choice.
Saw Ana in Fort Worth and it was truly an awesome experience. She is incredible!
Prekrasno. Savršeno. Dirljivo i nadahnjujuće. Hvala, draga Ana! Beautiful. Perfect. Very touching and inspiring. Thank you, dear Ana!
Tip of the hat to Sicca for the superb sound quality, mic placement, room acoustics - a truly xlnt listening and viewing experience, r.e.s.p.e.c.t. Ms. Vidovic's playing has a powerful grace captured extemely well with rich fidelity, even within the very limited provisions of ytube. Brava.
Few master the grand essence. Of the beautiful Classico guitar of Segovia. You have a wonderful understanding and grand technical ability.thank you!
Pozdrav Ana iz Srbije! Svaka ti čast samo nastavi!!! 😃
Beautiful rendering of the classical piece on guitar by Ana Vidovich....Bravo!
Ana Vidovic é a melhor, moro no Brasil e admiro muito ela, tenho 12 anos e também toco e estudo violão classico na UFBA
A Ana é sensacional!! Ja viu ela ao vivo? Estudo com quem na UFBA?
My admiration for this young lady's talent is beyond words. How gifted she is! An inspiration for those of us who keep trying.
Awesome, incredible, perfect, beautiful!
Listening Nd watching ANA play is like watching the .ost beautiful sunrise nd feeling the warm sun rays touch you in such a way it souths your soul. If you ever tour in or near NEW Jersey I will be there .
GOD Bless you ANA 🙏🏼
De que Planeta ela veio? Que performance surreal, incrível! Não posso nem imaginar quantas horas por dia ela treina para ter chegado nesse nível!!!
Ela praticamente nasceu tocando. Neuroplasticidade aliada a um talento nato e muito estudo.
The opening Bach is among her earliest recordings, and the maturity of her playing now is so apparent. She has slowed it down and plays with so much expression. That's what a master does so well, she is among the very best!
Lady's amazing, and captivating, and although it must go without saying, just the same, I [will] say it, "Beautiful".👩🏻
God Bless You Ana🙏🏻🦋💚🎸
Ana we love you. Take care, be safe, keep your fingers warm. Please release more albums...
I hadn't ever really thought of classical guitar as a thing until now. This is so beautiful!
Brilliant and emotional, myself a guitar player rock and a bit classic, I have to salute you with high admiration for clarity and fingers played sometimes like water flowing high up to sky and sometimes down back to earth with beauty...But still don't understand how 101 dislike clicks on this? Are they deaf and no idea about the guitar technicity or music.. haha...nothing to say so shut it up!
Ana, you are a wonderful player! I have followed you for over a year now, and continue to be inspired by your incredible talent. Thank you for the gift of music which you share with us!
Why I like her interpretations? It is in her way of playing Bach and Scarlatti, in her most sincere way of worshiping these masters. Well, let me tell you Ana, for me you are also a master.
Este medio nos permite estar cerca en Su compañía escuchando estas magistrales interpretaciones apreciada Ana Vidovic. Mi Eterno agradecimiento joven Maestra
I could listen to this all day and never get tired of listening to Ana Vidovic play. I wish I had a guitar to learn and play all of this.
I Totally Respect People who can Play Like This, Thank you Young Lady for your Music . ; )
With each majestic performance, the original artist renews his immortality. Perhaps that is why it is said that music and its performers will always be eternal. Congratulations
Brillante guitarrista Ana !!! que limpias interpretaciones... Bravo !!!!! desde el norte de Argentinas mis felicitaciones.
This is an incredible incredible performance
I have no idea how it is possible to memorize so many notes, in sequence, and with the right tone and intensity. Scary.
Dear Ana, your guitar really speaks the soul of music. Thanks
Her form is flawless,
to watch her play is like being serenaded by one of the Muses,
entranced by eloquence and enthralled by beauty.
Notice the focus and concentration,
ever so deep in the zone,
one with the instrument,
the strength in her fingers,
the precision of her left hand,
the perfect meter and power of her right hand's attack
balanced so gently with dynamic control second to none.
The tone of her forearms denotes countless hours of Playing
dedicated and intense practice,
long hours of study
years of hard work from such a young age
Her eyes never leave the fretboard,
she doesn't need to look, her eyes are closed
It's just that her form is perfect,
one might even say flawless.
