Will this band never cease to be awesome??? I was listening to them in the 80s, 90s, and now well into the 2000s! I'm starting to think they're machines, cuz machines don't make mistakes!
One thing I really like about KMFDM live is they always give you your money's worth. A nice, solid two-hour set. I understand that most bands I go see don't have enough material for that, but it's just nice to get a long show.
With almost 30 years of conceptual Continuity, KMFDM can't suck hard enough! Can't wait to introduce my 18 year old son, and longtime fan of the band, to a live show sometime soon!
im so glad one of my favorite bands are still on the frontlines of enemy mainstream territory. my son was named after the vocalist, and i have several kmfdm tattoos. KMFDM will never stop!!!!
Except for now. Know one knows this shit. They dead. I still love em. You prolly dead to. I still love you. 10 years ago i wasnt even on here than you a grandma or grandpa lol
This video is modern but still gives the old "Megalomaniacal" feel. So good to see that KMFDM has adjusted and evolved for the changing times, another reason why this awesome band has lasted so long!
I saw KMFDM in Hollywood. Security was checking ID at the door. When he saw my advanced age far above all the other audience ( I Guess) He looked up at me, a worried expression on his face, and said "Sir, do you KNOW what type of music will be played tonight?" I almost decked the guy right there. "Yeess! I was listening to metal before you were born."
Gabriel Kross I had already heard Morse code, but I tested what the OP wrote at this page morsecode.scphillips.com/translator.html and was surprised that it was true.
This band rips it up. raw, dark, sinister, amazing. Love KMFDM and other dark electonic/industrial groups like Front Line Assembly, Front 242, Skinny Puppy,Angel Spit, Wumpscut, Allflaws
When someone says "KMFDM SUCKS" it's a sign of support that started way back in the early 90s. I need to check out the rest of this album but as a lot of us "old-timers" will say we miss the good ol' days of muzik with more energy and kraut. I started listening in 1992. I wont say the "J" word but I miss ANGST for certain. Bands move on, styles change, etc...
awesome band. starting listening to them in the mid 90's because i got free tix to see them. i was and still am a huge death metal fan but kmfdm will always be in my top 5 best bands ever.
Man, whoever in the band is in charge of that hard hitting beep sound is really bringing it home in this song! Beep bu beep beep beep bippa...sure to be an instant classic.
Thirty years ago, at 29 of February 1984 (not like this one) KMFDM was conceived. Throughout these years KMFDM have been messing with our minds (doing it again) making some of us better people, some of us smarter, some of us more hatefull about this reality, this system and more eager to change this society, destroying what destroys us. I consider the active years of KMFDM as Years of Light. KMFDM is probably the most honest band on this earth. I am glad that i lived only to know them. I wish i could meet them sometime. Happy birthday KMFDM may you be 100! (and then we ll say a Century of Conseptual Continuity). Cant wait to see Kaptain K head of global music revolution. Keep educating der Mehrheit with your ambiguous songs.Never back down. To make long story short, KMFDM Sucks! Ends with an M begins with a K.
I just cannot believe that they have been doing this for 25 years. They have in part molded the person that I am. Ever since I was in my teens I have loved and respected them. Sascha, thank you so much for your passion and commitment, I am actually shedding tears right now, I guess it means this much to me you guys are still around. KMFDM SUCKS!
kmfdm is industrial music!if you don't like it that is your problem.my fellow industrial goth industrial people some of like it some of don't .very popular at goth club or goth night.
Sascha is truly a modern day real life Peter Pan! In his fifty's and still rocking hard while sporting a mohawk, my hat is off to him as well as the group in a whole. mainstream music is one "flash in the pan" after another while kmfdm has had long lasting strength and staying power like pornstars of industrial!
Been a fan since Money and I look forward to each album. Only one thing can make me happier than normal for a new KMFDM album: KMFDM with Raymond Watts doing tracks with them.
Sacsha K and crew have been kicking the ass industrial so long now ...I remember them back when Rabies by SP and Nitzer Ebb's Belief albums were out! WWIII is also a great live CD! Keep up the good work kids!!!
Looks like they were just fucking around with some new video editing software one night and just slapped the video together quick lol good video though great song.
Taken as a whole, KMFDM's lyrics are strongly anti-government, anti-communism, anti-fascism, and anti-authoritarian. There is a subtle satire in many of their songs which is easily lost in translation.
They should make a KMFDM Movie of them with a story of them being chased by the government for what they play in their songs, it would be cool. At the end of the movie the fans join them in full anarchy.
And they should end it with an ironic twist, where anarchist fans adore them so much that they encourage KMFDM to assume a position of power, so KMFDM become dictators. Just to see if people get it.
KMFDM have been protesting against war and violence through music since the 80s, its insanely uninformed and small-minded to try to blame music with the opposite message for actions committed by the mentally ill.
A few years ago it dawned on me that the beeping is Morse code for "KMFDM KRANK". You can even re-create it on a morse code generator just change the pitch to C.
Love KMFDM. That being said, their newer stuff has really gotten mediocre. I miss the days of En Esch and Watts, and pre-symbols KMFDM. Eh, still better than most of the mainstream stuff though...
