I think we're still unpacking the opening scene. That's not the State Street bridge, it's the Clark Street bridge. Could just be a matter of shooting location availability, but I suspect it was a deliberate choice - like Carmy's path looks similar to Michael's, but he's literally going down a different road.
From what I've read, I think season 3 is a "filler" season because the creator only envisioned 3 seasons, but Hulu requested 4, so he agreed and gave us this "filler" season, hence all the flashbacks and lack of pregression of main story plots. If that's true, then I'm really looking forward to season 4, which would actually be season 3 in the eyes of the creator.
S3 E10- Sydney was in her apartment and looked at her cell phone. We briefly saw a man on her cell phone wall paper. Could the man be her former love interest or an old photo of her father?
There was also a brief flashback when they were doing the fire suppression test and hers showed a man with her while cooking I believe, could’ve been that it was more than business falling apart in her last endeavor
It never dawned on me that Luca was talking about Carmy. Maybe he didn't know that Marcus was sent there by Carmy. Otherwise, he would've mentioned Carmy by name instead of just saying "this other chef".
Luca definitely knew Marcus was sent by Carmy. There's no way that you arrange one of your chefs to stage overseas with another chef without communication. Also, in season three, we see that Carmy staged at the same restaurant and stayed on the same boat as Marcus did.
@@Se7enDueceCarmy arranged Marcus to go to Copenhagen with the owner of the restaurant, not Luca. Luca didn’t know this as he is just a pastry/dessert chef, and not part of selecting new chefs to come in for training.
One of the 3rd season episodes was shot on my block in Evanston, so I was excited to see the season launch. What a disappointment! 3rd season is endlessly masturbating on food details gone way too far. It was fine for a few scenes, but it seems that the entire season has relied on this singular, eventually tedious....theme.

Y’all missed that as Sydney is quitting in S1E7, she actually has a Sharpie on her apron & it probably worked.
Anyone think the opening scene is echoed when Carmy gets locked in the walk-in? He's the caged bear who's raging at everyone from inside his "cage".
Smart

Great observation, that never even crossed my mind. Nice catch!
The Bear is one of my favourite shows, I'm looking forward to the third season, and it gets the chaotic kitchen environment so spot on.
The "I love Taylor Swift too I just needed a break" line had me scream laughing
I was the person driving the Zamboni in the intro to season 3 Episode 2
Really? That’s so cool!
Season 3 sucks ass

as a chef. those finger shakes without words would say it all

Small detail: on the episode of Napkins of Season 3, Tina’s real life husband, plays her husband.
My favorite small detail is that it’s not funny yet it wins awards as a “ comedy 🎭 “
it's definitely more of a dramedy but you don't think anything has been funny? lol
@@felyne. I didn’t have any laugh 😆 out loud moments but Richie provides some moments of light laughter
It hilarious what are you talking about
@@t221000Sydney is low key funny too ..
@@powertrip25 Sydney is hilarious. this person is trippin if they don’t find this show funny 😭😭
Season 3 should have had the note of Part 1 because basically nothing happened
I really HATED S3 E1…it was just an obnoxious flashback/montage!
it was a beautiful and much-needed slowdown after the frantic pace of the last two seasons.

Carmy's tatoos. Happy thursday morning, Emily. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
I wanna see this :-)

@@hrussell9677 Ah, that makes sense. Thank you for the education.
The clothing thing and his stacks of jeans in the oven never became anything else. I thought it be more important.
Carm has a VII Fishes tattoo as well.
Luca comes back in the final few episodes of Season 3...
live fast tattoo could be a reference to a circle jerks song
