you do not imagine how lucky you are to be able to have such a great freedom of territory that you enjoy shooting at long range. Congratulations very good. Greetings from Italy

Nice shooting, I’ve had my RPR .338 LM for about six months now....love it. My range goes out to 1760 yards, and I find that the RPR is accurate enough for this range.
I’m shooting berger 250’s and 300’s. Anyway found your video and wanted to say, again, Nice Shooting!

I purchased my RPR 338LM right around the time that you had your NICS issue. Sorry to hear about that happening. I watched your first RPR video when you did it and have been sitting back waiting to see your ne t video. Great job! I'm getting ready to do my review series of precision reloading for the RPR 338LM in "My Reloading Lab". Optic on mine is a Valdada Recon G2 and I absolutely love it!

What was that light system you were using?
Nice shooting! I picked up my RPR in 338LM 3 months ago. Shooting Nosler 265gr ABLR @ 2,825fps. Reloader 33 or Retumbo is hard to come by right now so one day (after the election) I will get some slower powder and get another 50+ fps.
I’ve shot 2km but goal is 2.4km and that’s about as far as I can shoot without a long drive.
You have the right idea, shoot, have fun, camp, clean your gun, have a beer, enjoy a dinner and watch the stars in peace and quiet with the Wyoming wind by your side! 😂

If you make it to Vancouver Washington give me a shout. I have some spare steel. What got cut for targets has stood up to my 338 at 300-2040yds plus several other rifles.

Nice shooting. Where exactly is this at? I'm looking at the RPR and the MRAD. I've shot the MRAD at 1000 yards. Loved it. Great video. Keep it up.

Pro tip... don't use ar500 for long range.
You want that thing to dent good.. splashes more paint and you can see a hit from the thing swinging.
I use 1/4 mild at a mile and beyond.

    • @tec9944
      @tec9944 Рік тому +3

Yes😂 why in the world would you think you couldn't, you can do this pretty much any where, the u.s and Canada and Alaska have all kinds of places and land like this , I actually insist if your interested to please do, get out in the outdoors more and bring all the kids you can, to much of the world are in cities now half the size of a good farm packed in by the millions, and there's so much of this country available to shoot and hunt and hike and fish it's beautiful and we need the younger generation to get out here more and experience things that the human race has done for thousands and thousands of years until recent times. I hope you get out and shoot some more friend

Hang it with two chains 7 inches apart , if you hit it you will see it move and eventually stop moving , the closer the chain , the mire movement you have✌️

Free land my ass...get off my property mister, my house is getting built right there!!
    Just kidding...😁😁
He'll, if that was my land right there, you'd be waaay more than welcome to come shoot on it. Great video and presentation of that rifle, was in the market for one last year around this time but the Wuhan Flu came. Then everything vanished firearm wise...
But I just recently picked up a Tikka TAC T3 A1 in 6.5 Creedmoor with all the goodies. Haven't shot it yet, ammo a tad bit expensive right now so am gonna wait til later this spring when I go back home to Northern Idaho, will take it with me and get some shooting time with it. I've seen ammo come down in price but not much but better than before a few months ago...
Again, really good video and absolutely beautiful scenery where you're at there. Hell, you may have to send an invite...👍👍
    Update: May 4, 2024...
I no longer have the Tikka. At the time I bought it, things in life took a turn and I ended up selling it like four or five months after buying it.
Never even got to shoot it.
I still want a RPR in .338 but they've gone up quite a bit in price since I last posted here.
But I recently picked up a Savage 112 Magnum Target in .338 used for $800. Came with scope and bipod. Can't wait to shoot it as it's my first .338 rifle.
I'm still waiting for that invite to come shoot...🙄

tighten up those groups... Pay attention to windage. At 2000yrd you must also compensate for the rotation of Earth. Keep practicing.

Your 3x3 plate at 1/4" would have weighed 90 lbs. Nothing wrong with what you have.
